Perfect Hawai’i getaway

It is a perfect location close to the beautiful Hanalei Bay and to shopping and restaurants. The home is clean, with lovely and comfortable furniture. It’s very well stocked with everything from the kitchen to beach gear. We especially appreciated all the chairs and yeti backpack cooler. The ac in the upstairs was amazing, the only thing that would have improved the stay was ac downstairs, it was pretty warm and stuffy for sleeping. The host was great and very accommodating. We would definitely book this home again!

Peaceful Setting in Hanalei

The layout allowed for great family time and still afforded us privacy when needed. It was equally close to the beach and the town... no need to get in the car, everything was within walking distance.
Awesome Extended Family Vacation

Hale Hanalei was an awesome paradise house for our extended family vacation. Our favorite spot was the deck right off the living room / kitchen where we hosted dinners with all 10 of us plus 3 others staying locally. Multiple generations were able to really enjoy the home! We were very impressed with all the extras - chairs, bogey boards, some snorkel stuff, clothes washer soap, etc.<br/><br/>Comes with a Nespresso (original) machine that is flacky and makes a mess everytime it is used but we brought our own Vertuo and only used it sparingly (espresso martini?)

The only complaint was from those who slept down stairs where there was no A/C.The icw maker downstairs did not work and the fridge ice maker could not keep up with the 10 of us. It was a very enjoyable visit. Hanalei is the best representation of Kauai. I would stay no where else.
Incredible Hanalei Bay Stay

It's perfectly located near restaurants, cafe's and the local beaches are just steps away. Both stays the place was clean, orderly, and felt just like at home. I'd even go as far as to call this a dream home. Amenities are wonderful and there is so much space. I look forward to booking this home again and would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.

Fabulous house in a wonderful location

Great surfing opportunities as well as excellent shopping within walking distance. Well-maintained property with great amenities. Property management was very responsive.

Views were amazing of the waterfalls cascading down the mountains... such a nice surprise to wake up to this each morning. Had 10 people in our party and with two living areas (down and up), we never felt like home was cramped. Kids had the downstairs and adults had the upstairs. Hot tub was a plus as well and kids enjoyed this each day. Highly recommend this property and plan to return again in the future!

The one thing we didn't love was that the lower level had no A/C so it got hot down there and made it kind of hard to sleep. We were there in early June so maybe not an issue other times of year.

Their home was exactly what we needed, 5BR and baths from the get go. What was so surprising to us when we entered Hale Hanalei is the entire remodel of the upstairs-HL website still reflected the property prior to remodel in its pictures online. WOW, we were so surprised so beautiful, I thought it was very nice prior too. Incredible job. Victoria T was fabulous HL Host for our stay. Only one issue which was scary was the master BR wall mirror crashing to the floor at 1:00 a.m. so thankful it was not during the daytime. I would highly recommend Hale Hanalei, Thanks to the owners for honoring our was perfect for our family. I would recommend HH for large family or two families or couples; the combination of downstairs and upstairs has plenty of room to gather or spend time alone! Just a fabulous home!

Location, Location, Location! This recently updated spacious 3,000 sq ft home located less than a 5 minute walk to the spectacular Hanalei Bay has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. This home offers air conditioning in the upstairs King suites, with ceiling fans in every bedroom and living space. Two 700 sq ft decks on each level were just added to this property to provide spacious outdoor living and dining space. Comfortable teak couches & dining tables add to the experience to enjoy your favorite Hawaiian cocktails after a long day of play in the sun.
This spacious home is perfect for multiple families traveling together. There are two levels within the house joined by a central hall and stairway. With new wood floors & upgrades throughout, you will not be disappointed. The fully equipped kitchen and primary living area are located on the upper level. You will find everything you need to prepare a feast fit for a king, including a gas grill, to prepare a tropical feast. An expansive kitchen island, with seating for 3, provides the perfect space to prepare and share the day’s meals. There are also two dining areas, one indoor & one out, to create the perfect outdoor setting for a family dinner or a romantic dining experience for 2.
The mountainside and ocean-side suites are located on the upper level with air-conditioning. Both suites are generous with king-sized beds & their own dedicated bathrooms suites. The mountain-side suite boasts a large soaking tub and separate walk-in shower with rainhead. Amazing views of mountain fed waterfalls are seen through the sliding doors adjacent to the bed. The ocean-side suite has an incredible walk-in rain shower with two heads. This spacious suite also offers an exterior seating area on a private lanai with plenty of room to escape for a cup of coffee or to read or book away from the bustle of the rest of the home along with a sauna & jacuzzi.
The lower level has 3 bedrooms, two full bathrooms & a separate living room area with a foosball and game. The mountainside bedroom has two twin beds, offering a surfer theme. Our lanai-side Queen bedroom is quiet, with access to a lanai that leads to our open grassy lawn and hot tub. The third oceanside bedroom with a Queen, boasts an amazing cross breeze with two sets of sliding glass doors for great ventilation. The downstairs living space is established as a second living room, with a large Smart TV & seating area. There is also a wet bar equipped with a beverage fridge and icemaker, as well as a foos-ball table for a post-beach competition.
Enjoy a relaxing time in the hot tub and let all the worries soak away! Afterward, unwind in the soothing warmth of the sauna. The house is also equipped with an outdoor hot water shower for your convenience when returning from the beach. There are many great spaces to lie & rest in the shade, under a palm tree. The home comes equipped with beach towels, a beach closet with beach chairs, toys, umbrellas & usually a boogie board or two.
The house is two blocks from Hanalei Town & a block and a half from the Pine Trees beach access on beautiful Hanalei Bay. You can't beat Hanalei Bay with its relatively flat, hard sand that seems to stretch into the warm Pacific Ocean for miles. This beach is great for all ages including surfing for the beginner as well as the experienced surfer depending on where you surf in the bay.
