They did replace the coffee maker quickly, but no such luck with the AC. The owners did compensate us for the inconvenience. Very spacious and comfortable outdoor spaces. Beautiful home in Princeville

It is better than advertised. Our favorite spot was sitting on the beautiful patio watching the sun set. The beds were comfortable and the linens were very nice. The location is great - only a few minutes drive from beautiful Hanalei Bay. Any questions we had were immediately answered by the property managers. We can't wait to come back.

Short drive to the best snorkeling on Kauai, Tunnel's Beach. The place is well laid out. The kitchen was like cooking at home, well appointed with everything needed to cook. The view off the back porch of the golf course and ocean was a pleasure to wake up to!
Wonderful Kauai Home

Best of all, the home is well-appointed, clean, and stocked with fabulous features and appliances. We never needed the AC because we just opened windows on both sides of the house or used the massive ceiling fans. The kitchen, dining area, and patio made it hard to leave for adventures. We could have easily stayed another week or two and look forward to another visit to Hale Moli.

The owners seem to have thought of everything. I'm an architect, so I pay attention to the little things. I can honestly say that I would not have changed a single thing. The main space is set up for a family to hang together. The open plan they created invites the family to hang together, cook together, watch a movie together etc. The covered Lanai was fantastic in the mornings and evenings. It provided cover for the periodic North Shore showers. The hosts Ian and Melissa were so responsive and helpful with recommendations and any information we needed on the house. I could not recommend this place enough, not only for the location, but the obvious attention they've put into the quality and management of the house. We will be back for sure. Mahalo to folks who've made this place special. <br/>

- It is designed for natural ventilation throughout, so there are vent openings into each room that connect to mostly communal areas. Sound does travel, so groups wanting perfect quiet or extreme privacy should maybe reconsider.
-The house is also on the far north side of the island. Getting back to the airport or activities on the south side can take a good chunk of time. If you have a short trip, or are looking to spend a lot of time at different parts of the island, there will a lot of time spent in the car. Drives ARE beautiful, but it can eat up a lot of your day.
Other than that, though!
This house was amazing. It was very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed in linens, beach towels, toiletries and bikes! The washer and dryer got some good use. The kitchen is a dream! We prepped a five course meal with multiple cooks, and as had everything we needed! The views were fantastic off the back porch. We naturally spent most of our down time together enjoying the scenes of the waterfalls and watching the rain flow across the golf course. Sunsets to take your breath away! The water feature out back was a lovely touch of ambiance and the hot tub is lovely.
Property management was extremely helpful and responsive. They helped us get a dinner reservation and promptly answered all of our questions. They also provided a very detailed and informative informational book about the house and the area. Honestly, I am sincerely recommending that you read the house book when you arrive. It answered so many questions and had great recommendations! Excellent hosts!

This single-story, wheelchair-friendly executive home appropriately named Hale Moli (house of the albatross) just finished a complete remodel in 2021 and not a single attention to detail was spared. Perched high on the cliffs of the picturesque sixth hole, the outer edges of the greens at Makai Golf Course are home to dozens of nesting albatross and the oversized lanai off the rear of this property is the perfect place to enjoy nature and beauty abound. Watch the sun dip straight into the Pacific from your cozy outdoor couches then cook up some fresh, local fish on the grill. You won’t want to leave the comfort of this outdoor living space.
Once inside, Hale Moli features a magnificent chef's kitchen and wetbar with a dual-fuel, six-burner range and electric oven, KitchenAid professional series appliances, separate wall/convection oven, and plenty of space to prepare a gourmet meal in the comfort of your own home. (Olive oil, salt, pepper, and basic spices provided) The separate wet bar is equipped with an ice refrigerator and all of the necessary accessories to enjoy tiki cocktails on the lanai.
Three spacious bedrooms each with their own bathroom makes this property perfect for traveling couples, extended families, or families with children. Each room is uniquely themed. All bedrooms have smart TVs, pillow top mattresses, and air-conditioning (a unique feature in Hawaiian homes!)
The Bali Hai bedroom has ocean views from a luxurious, California king-sized bed. This bedroom also features an independent workspace and en-suite bathroom with an oversized tub, walk-in rain shower, and dual vanity with plenty of space. The I'a bedroom features a queen size bed with en-suite bathroom and the Mala bedroom has a king bed with en-suite bathroom. Bulk soap amenities are also provided.
The main part of the home boasts two separate living spaces. The entertainment room can be partitioned off by a barn door and has a wrap around sofa perfect for lounging and watching a movie. There is a DVD player, cable, and even a Nintendo Mini that contains hundreds of vintage NES games - brush up on your Super Mario Brother skills on rainy days! Enjoy the cabinet of popular board games too.
The other living area has comfortable modern furniture and in addition to the work area in the Bali Hai bedroom, also features a second independent workspace for couples who are telecommuting. Hi-speed internet throughout the home - lightning fast download speeds and Zoom-meeting friendly.
And of course, the other best part of this home is the treasure trove of beach equipment waiting for you in the garage. Two soft top surfboards, a stand up paddle board, bikes, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs and even a two man kayak are available for your use making this home truly a basecamp to adventure.
