A little off the beaten path, but lovely.

It's not a great location if you're looking for stuff in your immediate vicinity to do. It's quiet and lovely. We used it as a jumping off place to see the Hilo side of the island. It worked great for day tripping. There are grocery stores and restaurants within about a 10 minute drive. I would definitely recommend this place. You WILL hear the sounds of nature. Enjoy!

After the windows were opened the house began to breath and started cooling down, and when morning came, the beauty the property possesses came to light; especially in regards to the backyard. The amenities were plentiful. There were more things there for our convenience than what we have at home. We really truly loved our stay there. Definitely a "Diamond in the rough!". To add, our host or property manager, Robinette, was accessible and very helpful to us, and we really appreciated that.

Great Experience in a Very Nice, Well Situated Home

The house made trips between the National Park, Hilo, and coastal areas very simple (vs staying in Hilo as we have in the past). Great wi-fi, and a very comfortable home with a fantastic back yard. Local market less than 5 minutes away, Pahoa town less than 10!

This three bedroom, two 1/2 bath home is located at the very end of an peaceful street. Wonderfully convenient to all the signts and sounds that the east side of the Big Island has to offer, swimming and snorkeling in Hilo is just 40+ minutes away, or the new black sand beach at Isaac Hale Park aka Pohoiki is also about 20 minutes away. Dining and shopping in Pahoa just keeps getting better and better! This hale has all that you need for that perfect vacation in paradise for two to six people.
This is a spacious home with a large kitchen and a great living room with picture windows on 3 sides that give you a great view of Paradise and literally brings the outside in!! As you vacation here, you’ll just want to settle in and make this your home away from home. In fact, you might never want to leave Paradise.
The grounds are simply gorgeous and include blooming tropical flowers and fruits such as pineapple, avocado, lemon, apple bananas, papaya and Lilikoi – You can pick, eat and enjoy to your heart’s content!
The hale has a master suite with a king bed, and 2 additional bedrooms with queen beds. The sizable kitchen, with its beautiful custom counter tops works extremely well with plenty of room to prepare and cook wonderful island meals. You can dine either indoors OR out on the lovely lanai that looks out into the very private backyard and grounds. There is even a BBQ grill for your outdoor cooking.
The hale is equipped with cable television, DVD player, washer/dryer and broadband internet. So, bring your laptop and stay connected.
