The house was beautiful. Very well designed, extremely clean and nicely appointed. It was obvious that a recent remodel had been done and the finishes were very well done. We were a group of 6 adults and one child and it felt spacious. Lots of natural light and beautiful yard to explore. Steps from one of the most stunning beaches in the world. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Our family of 5 LOVED our stay at Ka Hale Olu. There was lots of room for everyone, a clean, well equipped kitchen, giant laundry machines and right across the street from beautiful Anini Beach. We took the house beach chairs and went and sat there every evening. It's a big property - so lots of privacy. The back deck was perfect for morning coffee and breakfast with the kids. The loft was so much fun for my 10 and 13 year old that the 13 year old chose the single up there instead of a queen bed all to himself! We were an easy, short drive to Princeville and Kilauea for groceries and restaurants. Hanalei was easy to get to for surfing and shopping. Very charming home - we'll definitely be back!! Thank you for having us.

Beautiful layout - couch and dining room set though not suitable - both need to be replaced with furniture suitable for this price range (couch is like something from a frat house and dining room chairs out of the school cafeteria) and stove needs to be replaced as the burners only have one level - full throttle. Can really only boil water on it. Water filtration system under the sink was not working. Beds were comfortable but lose the bean bag type chairs in the bedroom as u r not renting to 12 year olds. If they upgrade the furniture to something suitable for anyone over 25, and replaced the stove, would rent again in a heartbeat.

The property was amazing. The rooms were a good size and everything was so clean. The yard was various spacious and, even though there are neighbors, you feel like there's no one else around because everything is so quiet.

The individual from the property management company was very responsive via text message in answering a few questions we had.

We loved staying here.

Anini is right across the street and easily accessible. The property is private and has a large yard and the rooms are comfortable. There are 3 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. As well as the loft in addition (with 2 twin beds) so lots of space. The fans and windows make for plenty of breeze and it doesn't get too hot even though there's no AC. It was an excellent location, comfortable, clean and spacious accomodations.

Kauai for a Week

We made this our home base for the entire family and our 1 week in Kauai. The property work perfect for us with one couple in the cottage and the rest at the main house. It easily accommodated everyone, yet each could go get privacy away from the group. It was wonderful being just across the street from the beach and we took many early morning and late night walks on it. In the cottage you could hear voices from the main house, but it was not disturbing. The neighborhood gets quite a few cars going by, but again was not noisy at all. Note: there is not air conditioning in either building, but with the windows open the property usually catches a nice breeze from the ocean. Over all I recommend this property to stay at.

Even though I was dumped by my girlfriend on the second day I enjoyed the location. The blender didn't work and the kyyak that was offered in the discription was NOT available (insurance) per the in house rules.

Ka Hale Olu at Anini Beach, near Hanalei, is an exclusive vacation rental located on the North Shore of Kauai, the Garden Island. With 3 bedrooms, an additional loft and 2 baths, Ka Hale Olu offers a true Hawai’ian vacation experience. In 2020, Ka Hale Olu went through a complete remodel. Everything in the home was rebuilt. Relax with your morning coffee on the spacious lanai as you gaze over the impossibly blue Pacific Ocean, just yards away. To help you enjoy the ocean to the fullest, snorkel and water gear is provided. For your plugged-in convenience, Ka Hale Kai Ola offers free WiFi and TV w/DVD.

A spacious living room features upscale furnishings, vaulted and beamed ceilings and an airy feel with tropical ceilings fans. Sliding glass door leads to the lanai. This is the space your group will look forward to gathering for a favorite TV show or movie.

The lanai offers astounding views. Hawai’i’s near-perfect temperatures and lovely trade-winds make it easy to live your life in the stunning outdoors.

The gourmet kitchen will be the delight of the family chef. With bountiful cabinets, a full complement of appliances, white stone counters and a large center island, he or she will everything needed to create a family feast. The adjacent dining room is a lovely, open space to enjoy a meal together.

The comfortable Master bedroom features a King bed and high-quality hotel type linens. The additional two bedrooms have Queen beds. The loft has two Twins.

Conveniently located near to eclectic Hanalei, Kilauea town, and all the treasures of the North Shore of Kauai, you are in the perfect location or your Hawai’ian adventure. Aloha.

The property can accommodate up to 10 guests, the Main house holds 7 guests. Parties that are 8 and above will have access to the cottage and charged an additional $300 per night plus an additional $250 cleaning fee. The cleaning fee will be added after booking.
