Our second stay here and it was fabulous. We will stay here again for sure. With two young children there was ample space for everyone to relax and play. Quick walks to both beach and town meant less car time and the neighborhood was quiet and lovely.

We loved staying at Kainalu! It was very clean, had everything we needed, and it was close to both town and the beach. Liz was a very helpful and informative host.

We like this place so much we have rented it again for next year that will be our third time at this property spacious beautifully appointed home two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms a third bedroom with the bathroom across the hallway and incredible kitchen, beautiful mountain views with waterfalls located Cul-de-sac right off the Kuhio Highway Definitely a tropical paradise highly recommended just a block and a half walk to Hanalei Bay Beach Half a block walk into town perfect location

We had such a nice stay at this house. The house is so beautiful and well taken care of (pictures don't do it justice!). They promptly answered questions and were able to deliver a pack n play for our daughter prior to our arrival. The yard is well kept and has gorgeous views. The best part was the location. It is within walking distance from the town and beach (and the house has plenty of beach supplies). We had plans to go to other parts of Kauai during our stay but ended up staying put after seeing how amazing this place was. We love Hanalei and have visited the town before but it was our first time getting to stay in the town. We will be staying here again and will be encouraging anyone we know going to Kauai to stay here as well!

Absolutely wonderful home for our family to enjoy ten days in Paradise. Every detail in this home is perfect. Having the outdoor shower was a huge bonus each day returning from the beach. Loved having the bicycles available for our use. Location can't be beat. All in All, Kainalu is a special home. This was our 49th time to land in Lihue and stay on the north shore, but it was the first for our new grandson, so we are starting a third generation of Hanalei worshippers!

The photo on Vrbo is misleading. the property is on a cul'de'sac backs on to the shops with no grass area. The main issue is the home next door is under full re-construction work starts at 6:30am and finishes around 4:00pm this should be explained in the rental contract of on the site or the property priced accordingly derring the construction period.

The home was beautiful and very well furnished. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We had 5 adults and a teen-ager and all or us were happy!

We were finally able to visit Kauai after two+ years of COVID. We celebrated a 65th and 70th family birthdays, wife's retirement, a daughter's engagement, and a son's new career path. Kainalu Hanalei was decorated in Hawaiian decor which we loved, perfect floor plan for us, beach gear, and an amazing location; cul-de-sac, easy walking distance to beach, and the town of Hanalei. And short drive to Princeville and North Shore beaches. We spent lots of time on the lanai with beautiful mountain views. Hawaii Life staff were there for us and we talked with their concierge several times. Our Kauai visit was truly the trip of a lifetime!

Absolutely loved the house, spacious and well decorated. Loved all the attention to details: well stocked kitchen, fancy champagne glasses, yeti travel mugs, bikes! We didn’t want to leave.

We took our adult children and their significant others to Hanalei for a family get away. This property exceeded all expectations, particularly with the layout of the home! Additionally, the amenities were so great - outdoor shower, beach chairs, bicycles, outdoor grill. I would definitely recommend this property / management company to friends and family. The property host was especially responsive and nice!

My family and I could not have been more pleased with the house we stayed in this week. It was spotless, well-appointed and had everything we needed, included a wonderful large chess board that received a lot of use. We loved the location as it was a short walk into town and the bikes were great to stroll to the beach or around Hanalei. Thanks again to Liz, who was the perfect property manager. We had one minor self-inflicted issue that she solved quickly. I highly recommend this property. We had an amazing time!!

Lovely home in a great location. We loved our time in Hanalei and this was a great base.
I wish they weren't so diligent about cleaning out ALL food/staples left behind - it would be really useful to have some cooking staples, and would create a lot less waste. But I suspect that's the management company's policy, not the owners'.
