Relaxing and well appointed condo in Kolea

We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and walkable beaches. The only suggestion is to have an adult area at the pool. Kids pool was beautiful (sandy beach and waterfall), but the families said water was too cold, so all the kiddos seem to be at the big pool. Quite loud at times. We loved the community and would return again!
Another big island success

The only recommendation I would give the owner is that it would be great to have a hard cooler in the storage area of the parking spot. Other than that, everything was perfect.
Spectacular Condo across the beach

1) The outdoor table on the Lanai could be larger so that our dinners can be enjoyed outside.
2) the 2nd bedroom could be better served by adding a dresser. The existing closet organizers should be replaced.
3) there were a few maintenance items that should be addressed. The shower light was burnt out and should have been replaced prior to our arrival. The TV has a line running thru the picture suggesting that it's old and need of replacement.
we had an issue on our lanai that could have been dealt with immediately rather than awaiting our 3rd call.
We were very pleased with our vacation condo at Kolea circle. The unit was exactly as described and was well furnished with modern appliances which made our stay very welcomed. There are a few restaurants nearby and others can be visited by driving a short distance. Kolea offers a nearby beach within walking distance as well as a nearby golf course with 3 x 9 hole layout which you can mix and match. Beautiful condo in a great area, Near the Kings Shops & Queens Marketplace, Lava Lava beach Club for a cocktail or meal with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed our morning walks around Waikoloa Beach Resort. The condo has a very well equipped kitchen including lots of spices etc. Lots of beach stuff in the storage, Covered parking was great as it was hot! We would love to stay again.<br/> Mahalo<br/>R&T

Management was responsive to questions ab the property. Would definitely book again for a future Big Island trip.

A good variety of restaurants a short walk or drive away. It was a good place for our kids-bath tubs, short distance to a pool, friendly people all around.
Nice condo in the best community in Waikoloa

Kolea location cannot be better. The building itself is at the very back of the community though still relatively close to the beach since the path to the beach is at the same side. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was no ocean view at all while somehow from the pictures we expected to have some partial view from the balcony (perhaps we just did not look close enough). Similarly, can clearly see from the picture there is no dining table on the balcony, but we somehow expected one - would be very nice to have and most of the other condos seem to have one. Otherwise a well-maintained condo (well, sheets on one of the beds had some stains hence 4 stars but we were planning to buy and use a new set from local Costco anyways). Enjoyed the grill a few times. Could not figure out how to turn on showers on the first night. :) This is the only occasion we needed to call the manager and they were immediately helpful (just pull the knobs from the wall harder :) ). Compared to some other condos we stayed before, parking is very convenient, very close and covered which makes your car not hot at all when you decide to go somewhere in the middle of the day. Also compared to some other condos, expected a bit more beach stuff like beach chairs, beach umbrella maybe, but none were in the condo.<br/>Overall, a very nice stay, we would be back though would prefer something beach front... Well, looks like most if not all beach front properties in Kolea are much bigger (4 bdrm?) so this is still a nice one.

The location of the Kolea condominiums in Waikoloa is exceptional. It's just steps to beautiful A Bay. The pool and jacuzzi were picture perfect with views all of the way to A Bay. It was a short walk to shops and restaurants. And the property manager was very easy to deal with. We would most definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed Kolea #16E. The property and location of Kolea is amazing. This unit was immaculate and had everything you could want available for use while in Paradise. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen, beach chairs, boogie boards and even the bathroom scales to weigh our luggage.<br/>Enjoyed the location of being so close to beach and shopping.<br/>We hope to come back!

The Kolea condos are so nice, and this one was well-stocked for our week-long visit- plenty of paper products. Everything we needed for our cooking was available in the kitchen - even had small ramekin for making garlic butter AND a champagne stopper - plus appreciated the spices and condiments left in the cupboard. Having a larger outdoor table would have made eating dinners on the lanai easier, but we managed okay. Loved easy access to A Bay, walking distance to the shops, and having the pool area with tables and chairs for afternoon sunning and reading. <br/>Pool closed for repairs starting on Nov. 1 - we checked out Nov. 2 so it wasn't that big of a deal...

Prettiest Beach on the Big Island

Short walk to a quiet beach which is protected by off shore reef. Watch the many varieties of fish in the traditional fish pond. A short walk on the beach leads you to resorts and a shopping centre which has everything you need for a wonderful stay.

Kolea Condo
Reviewed on 2020-02-15 by , Calgary, AB CAWe arrived to a fully stocked and immaculate condo. It was very spacious with high end furnishings and appliances. Very beautifully appointed. The condo had beach chairs, towels, etc. The area is very walkable and we walked every morning. It was a short walk to the beach club which had a pool, exercise area and a small sand lake for little people. A gate here leads to the beautiful sandy beach, where turtles and once a Hawaiian Monk Seal was. We would recommend this condo and are hoping to book this for another vacation.

A lovely quiet spot within easy reach of the A-Bay sandy beach. Access to the beach club was convenient and there are plenty of places close by provide excellent food if you don't care to cook. The kitchen was really well stocked with everything but food and we just really enjoyed the time there.<br/><br/>I'm not sure if this will be available for rent in the future as the property has been sold.

Reviewed on 2019-04-07 by , Calgary, AB CAKolea Circle #16 was in a beautiful complex that was close to the beach and amenities. The common pool area was very nice and a short walk from the condo. There was a showing while we were staying at the property and our manager let us know in advance but we had to tidy up prior to them arriving. When we arrived home we came home to a mouse in the property so maybe the doors were open too long during the showing. In general, the condo needs some general upgrades. The starter is gone on the BBQ, some burnt out lights, knobs on furniture broken, beach chairs are very old and can no longer be worn as a backpack and umbrella was not usable as it was broken in several places. Overall, location and complex was beautiful and in a great location to venture the island.
