Our stay with Maalaea Kai 316 condo was absolutely amazing. Condo was as advertised with an amazing ocean view, sounds of lapping ocean waves, and lots of turtles along with sea wall. The bedroom was very comfortable, loved the paintings around the house and the selection of books, and TV channels. Location is within walking distance to a quiet nice beach park.

Lynn Taylor, our condo property manager was amazing, greeting us with all the information before arrival as well as taking care of our requests and being super responsive through out our stay!

My family stayed at the condo and traveled to RTH and Haleakala and back. There is a reserved parking spot for the condo which makes sure you have a dedicated spot.

Will definitely recommend this condo for anyone who wants a tranquil place to stay within walking distance of restaurants, Starbucks, and the marina.

We had a great time spending our 45th wedding anniversity in Maui. Weather was great despite being very windy the first two days. Accomendations were very nice and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

We had such a great stay at this condo unit! Everything was perfect, and we we were lulled to sleep each night by the waves outside our sliding door. A beautiful experience all around! Thank you!

Our family booked the stay through VRBO. The mgt information for this unit was accurate and we were able to see turtles from our balcony as advertised! The view was very good also for sunrise and sunset. No direct sunlight, which is nice since then it gets too hot. The facility has been well taken care of and linens, kitchen, bathroom were in very good condition and clean upon arrival. I would have given this a 5 star for general condition, but there was a slight (very light brownish walk track from the tiled kitchen floor to the balcony). I vacuumed two times with the provided unit vacuum just in case there was sand from previous use & since we take off our shoes upon entering (did not want bare feet/socks getting dirty), but it was just a light brownish tint (no sand) compared to the rest of the newer carpet. Just from general use & prev cleaning was 'clean'. Nothing that a bissel steam vac couldn't get out in 5 to 10 minutes. Again not a big deal. We would stay again in this unit for sure. Walking dist to aquarium & ships harbor too! A beach was within walking dist too. Probably the best one we were at for the whole island due to proximity, privacy and swimming with a turtle!

Excellent view of the whales, turtles, just off the property edge, easy access to anywhere on the island, and the trade winds were perfect for keeping that place cool. We thoroughly loved being here, and the property was clean and as described.

The lower kitchen cupboards and the pots and pans were not in great shape. But that didnt matter to us because we were there for the view. Best view we’ve ever had!

This was our 2nd time staying in this unit and it was once again wonderful! The view from our lanai can’t be beat. We enjoyed every meal on our lanai. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. Our host was terrific and responded quickly to any questions we had. In addition, the complex is strategically located on the island-in walking distance to the harbor which made boat tours very convenient as well as close to the airport and most towns on the island. A 6 minute walk brought you to a beautiful stretch of beach that went on for miles and miles. The grounds were clean and well taken care of as was the pool. We look forward to staying here again.

Well maintained property with a great bed. The manager was very responsive to our requests and the price is the best we found. Be aware the area is quite windy and you won't get sunsets, but a trip north or south will provide for that. The harbor is within walking distance for boat trips which is a real pluds.

It was a nice stay, good sized condo with a beautiful view of Maalea Bay. There’s a full kitchen with appliances, a good sized room, and a living room with Netflix and other streaming platforms. There were binoculars and sun hats which I assume would be for lounging and whale watching, but it wasn’t clear if tenants could use those. The only negatives are location wise it’s not super close to any commercial areas like a full service grocery store etc, so you’ll need a car. Also the wifi didn’t work at all during my 5-day stay, so I had to rely on my phone to get WiFi for my laptop.

We arrived late at night and had no problem getting into the condo with the code Chelsea had sent to us. The bed was very comfortable and we got a great night's sleep. We woke up to the most amazing view ever!!!! We ate every meal out on the lanai watching the whales, boats, and even surfers one day! Very quite and relaxing place. The complex is very clean despite its age. It was nice to have an elevator and a cart to get all the belongings up to the room.
Everyone we met that lived there or worked there was very nice. The tile around the pool was being worked on but the guys doing the work were more than happy to allow us to swim while they worked on a walkway. It is a very nice pool! The condo was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Loved having a salad spinner!! My husband loved grilling out every night on one of the new gas grills. Our grandson came over and spent the night with us and he loved sleeping on the sofa sleeper. Said it was very comfortable and he loved hearing the sound of the waves! The location was perfect for getting to all locations around the island. My husband loved the Power Block weights for working out with and I loved the fact that I had a yoga mat to use for my workouts! When I could not find a hair dryer, I asked Chelsea about it and she said there should be one there. I not only found one, but four of them hidden in a secret draw in the bathroom! There is always a breeze coming through the condo and at night this made for good sleeping! Due to the breezy conditions, with windows open, you will have some dust on the floors. This is true Maui life! Overall we were very impressed with the condo and the beautiful property. Plenty of hangers and drawer space for clothes too! I would definitely recommend staying in Maalaea Kai #316.

Our stay at Maalaea Kai 316 was OK we missed a dishwasher, and the carpets were kind of dirty. My wife also picked up some bites on her ankles and dont know where the came from. Still bothered by them as of 3/8/20 We left Maui on 2/19/20.

This property is located on the ocean in Ma'alaea, Maui. We like this area because of it's central location and ocean views. The condo is located in a facility that is well maintained, with pleasant grounds and a nice pool. This unit is a good size for couple and could accommodate two more on the sofa bed in a pinch. The kitchen is small but workable with adequate dishes and an assortment of cookware. The laundry is in a separate room shared with other guests. It had three washers and dryers that were commercial grade and held more and were faster than the typical condo size units.

The weather was a little warmer than normal, but there were enough fans to make up for the lack of AC. Having coffee on the lanai and watching the sunrise behind Haleakala was priceless!

This location is a great spot for watching turtles feed right next to the property's seawall. There was even one resting on the beach a short walk from the condo. The views and central location make this a good choice for anyone who doesn't need the overpriced resort experience.

We were very happy with the condo location and the condo itself. It was very clean and well supplied with beach equipment. Although the unit has no A/C, the trade winds blow right through the unit keeping it well ventilated. The only unfortunate thing was a scheduled yard maintenance spread manure over the entire lawn while we were there which caused the whole area to smell and make the pool/lawn unusable for a couple of days. Although unavoidable, our rental agent was supposed to inform us about it but did not. Even still, I would stay there again without hesitation.

This condo was perfect for my husband and I. It is in a quiet place but not too far from Kihei or Lahaina, so you can easily drive to those places if you want to. The room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. It had a fully equipped kitchen and even some beach supplies so we could walk to the nearby local beach. My first visit to Hawaii! This place was almost perfect! Everything was stocked better than anywhere else I have stayed! There was plenty of towels and everything was very clean. We had friends staying down the street, so we did lots of day trips on the island! Food was wonderful everywhere we went!

Outstanding condo, awesome view from the lanai, quiet, good parking, nice pool, great amenities in the room. I really enjoyed the camera tripod to borrow and take pictures and sunset pictures. Beach chairs could use an upgrade. Property manager was awesome and provided quick response getting us a couple of much needed box fans. Made a world of distance. Great fun looking for and seeing literally hundreds of turtles on the beach wall out in front. Friendly and helpful condo maintenance personnel. Excellent and well organized recycling area, reduced garbage a lot. Good to see.

Outstanding condo, awesome view from the lanai, quiet, good parking, nice pool, great amenities in the room. I really enjoyed the camera tripod to borrow and take pictures and sunset pictures. Beach chairs could use an upgrade. Property manager was awesome and provided quick response getting us a couple of much needed box fans. Made a world of distance. Great fun looking for and seeing literally hundreds of turtles on the beach wall out in front. Friendly and helpful condo maintenance personnel. Excellent and well organized recycling area, reduced garbage a lot. Good to see.

The condo is nicely located with a fantastic view
onto the ocean. In the afternoon you can see sea turtles from your lanai. The location is good, as you can easily get to all other locations on the island with a rental car.
