Loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings watching the whales out in the bay. Property grounds were kept pristine. Condo was lovely and very clean.

We had a great stay. We were very surprised at the comfort of the bed in the ocean side room. The room overall is nothing spectacular, but is plenty good and comfortable to get the job done, just don't expect frills.

Being later in March we didn't see as much whale activity as past trips and also didn't notice too many turtles snacking on the rocks by the wall, just a few.

We spent more time than ever in the pool and it was always nice and warm.

We didn't bother with the grills or laundry this time & also didn't do much cooking in the unit. They had supplies, but the pans are dated and mostly all had burn marks/etc, but good enough for a few mornings of scrambled eggs.

The picture looks like where we stayed. Really nice and very comfortable. What would you need as far as utensils in the kitchen? Nothing. Everything is there for you. Good beds and pillows. BUT MOST OF ALL, WHAT A VIEW! Arriving from St. Paul, MN -16 weather to 70's, sunshine and warm breezes. Slept with my window open. This is a very centrally located place to stay and so quiet. We did visit the town across the harbor but too busy and crowded. I really liked the carts at the elevator to help with suitcases and food. Thank you and we both hope this finds all of you and the resort safe from the rain.

We had great experience at this Maalaea Kai Unit 410 plenty of towels and kitchen supplies On Island host very easy to communicate with. We definitely would stay there again.

This property was a great location to see whales and was quiet. The actual condo had great upgrades and comfortable beds. We had a great stay. We have stayed in this complex before in a different unit and this one was nice. Our only complaint is how tight the parking spaces are.

I have been coming to Maui for over 30 years. It is always wonderful. This is my first time renting this unit. Overall, it is a nice unit. The carpet is quite dirty. Most units do not have carpet. Also, I missed not having a table and chairs on the lanai as I enjoy dining outside.

Pros: great ocean front condo, loved the soft primary bed, Harbor wind keeps things cool, loved the ability to nighttime stream movies/shows
Cons: ODD OLD cooktop has only one burner that heats up to acceptable cooking temp. Skimpy on towels 1 towel per person for 6 days- must do laundry- not in the room- no condiments in fridge. Pocket door for primary bedroom is very difficult to close for privacy-

The thing we liked the most was how peaceful it was at Maalaea Kai. The location was perfect - a short drive from shopping/restaurants and a quick walk to the beach. The unit was clean and inviting. We cherished waking up each morning before sunrise and sitting on the deck, coffee in hand, to welcome the day. The view was spectacular! We had a wonderful stay and will be back!
