The beach cove is probably the nicest beach I’ve ever seen, yet I found myself with my back to it more often than not watching the falls. I need this place in my life more regularly.
Hanalei Bay Cottage

Very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable home with amenities from bath robes and bath towels to open (fully) kitchen and nice outdoor seating and outdoor shower. The ultimate bonus is walking out the backyard gate and being 50 yds from the beach. It was an awesome family vacation spot all around and would definitely come back.

I have stayed in the Bayview home 3 times before so I knew this was a great pick. The cottage was great and would rent it again. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable, but didn't plan on being in the house that much anyway. Bed was amazingly comfortable, but he room was very cramped. The kitchen was expertly equipped, but lacked counter space. The Hot tub was awkwardly placed, with no privacy for either house on the property. We would like to have known that the main living area and kitchen were upstairs.
Hanalei beach house

Also, we had issues with property security gate and hot tub cover which were not resolved while we were there. We loved being close to the beach and to town but would most likely not rent this property again. Dogs on both sides of property were noisy as well, but not unexpected for sure as these people live there!

Much of the inventory in Hanalei is really old and unkempt...we really liked this home a lot because the owners have paid attention to the details. We would visit again.

The dishwasher was broken for over a week. It finally took another realtor at Hawaii Life to get it replaced. The fridge leaked. The internet was not functional for anyone trying to work. The rooms are all small and the layout is awkward if folks are waking up at different times.
Magical stay on the beach in Hanalei!

The house was top notch with an all new design, modern furniture and airy open rooms that allowed the ocean breeze to flow right through. We fully enjoyed staying right on the beach in the bay where it takes only minutes to get to the ocean, the shopping and the restaurants. We are already planning our trip back and will not hesitate to book this property again! Wonderful!

This delightful, two-story cottage is on the beach and to the center of quaint Hanalei town. Enjoy mountain views and the ocean from the second floor of this charming cottage. All around you is the lush foliage for which Kauai's north shore is famous.
Cottage:
Bedroom 1: King bed with en suite (downstairs)
Bedroom 2: King bed with ensuite (upstairs)
You will appreciate the convenience of being able to walk to the beautiful crescent-shaped beach at Hanalei Bay in about two minutes or less. And, it is no more than a five-minute walk to the center of Hanalei where you can treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of a variety of cafes and restaurants right in town.
The property consists of two residences, Pinetrees Hanalei Beach House and Pinetrees Hanalei Cottage. Both properties are active vacation rentals and can be rented together for a total of 5 bedrooms or separately. Shared Hot Tub between cottage and Main House. The Cottage and Main House may be booked by separate groups at the same time.
Hawaii Life Rentals is a locally owned, licensed real estate company with rentals on Kauai, Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii. We offer on-island personal assistance and Concierge services.
Rates do not include taxes, cleaning and applicable fees.
