Perfect Vacation in Paradise
Reviewed on 2025-05-20 by Mary S. , Wantagh, NY United StatesThough we were only able to have a short stay this time at Kuilima, we were so very thrilled to be staying here at this beautiful condo! On entering we immediately relaxed; the unit looked fresh and clean, and had an island feel. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The spacious loft above easily accommodates another four people and includes a private bath as well. The covered lanai was a really nice addition to the living area, where we could enjoy our morning coffee and listen to the birds chirping in the trees. TVs, Wi-Fi, and AC were available throughout the condo, too, though we loved having the beautiful trade winds of Hawaii cool us instead! Another great perk was the washer/dryer in the unit, so we could do a load of laundry and pack clean clothes for our trip home. So perfect for an entire family! We loved that so much was available within walking distance of the condo--beaches, pools, tennis, walking trails, horseback riding, golf, restaurants, Turtle Bay--no driving necessary! So many attractions on the North Shore are also available within a short driving distance as well! We are definitely planning on an extended vacation here next time. It was the perfect spot to enjoy paradise!

Welcome to the Turtle Bay.. This clean and spacious 1 bedroom with a LOFT sleeps 4-6 people very comfortably. Gather and unwind with lots to do in the area, such as golf, tennis, and pickle ball. Walk to the beach or the Ritz Carlton hotel for shopping and dining. Historic Haleiwa Town is a 7 mile drive for lots of hip eateries, art galleries, boutiques, and exploring. Live Luau's, restaurants, and more coastal exploring nearby at the Polynesian cultural center. Not into crowds, then chill out in this cozy apartment and curl up with a good read with views of the signature Arnold Palmer golf course. End the day with stunning sunsets or a stroll through the lush resort. This is your ultimate get away from it all..
SET UP:
PRIMARY BEDROOM: Sleeps 2 with a KING bed, smart TV and ample closet space.
LIVING & KITCHEN AREA: Fully equipped to prepare meals. Fridge w/ ice-maker, electric range/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, Keurig K-Cup coffee maker & traditional carafe coffee maker. Dining seating has 3 bar stools on the center island and a small bistro table that seats 2 on the covered, enclosed lanai outside. *Please preview photos prior to booking. Living area has a smart TV.
*WIFI and high speed internet is equipped for the unit.
LOFT SPACE: The loft is an open, shared space above the kitchen and living area with a set of stairs and balcony to the lower level. There is a full-size bed and a queen size bed, and one bathroom with a stand in shower stall and **SLANTED CEILINGS**. *Please note that light filters from the lower level living area and sounds from the living area and kitchen may not be suitable for those who are sensitive or require privacy. *Please preview photos prior to booking.
*Please also note there is a set of stairs leading up to this unit, as well as a set of narrow stairs that leads up to the loft space. NOT ADA accessible or suitable for people with mobility issues.
*Includes a full sized in-unit washer/dryer.
There is lots to do and see within walking distance. Turtle Bay Estates East is surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds and offers guests pools, a BBQ area, tennis, and pickle ball courts for guest use. The quiet and gated complex is not often crowded, you may even have the pool to yourself!
The Ritz Carlton Resort is adjacent to this property. The resort offers secluded beaches for swimming or snorkeling, surfing, hiking trails. First-class dining in over five restaurants, a luxurious Spa with services, a gym (both open to the public for daily fees). Turtle Beach (2 minute drive, 11 minute walk)
Take a surf lesson, rent a stand-up paddle board in the protected Turtle Bay, or play a round of golf on one of the two Championship golf courses, Arnold Palmer or Fazio.
Experience beautiful starry nights in the country from your lanai, or catch some live entertainment at Surfer the Bar within the resort.
BEACH GEAR: Please note, we supply beach chairs and beach towels only. Use Hawaii Beach Time dot com to arrange for additional desired gear (snorkels/masks/boards) to be delivered to your rental or go to Sharks Cove or Haleiwa (Surf n Sea).

Kahuku shrimp trucks and other food options are about a ten minute drive east. Honolulu and Waikiki are roughly an hour and a half drive away on the lovely and scenic east side.
