The house is clean, spacious, and fully stocked with all essentials. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels, comfortable beds and bathrooms, kitchen essentials, laundry essentials, and even beach gear. The extra appartment downstairs was especially fun for my boys who wanted to stay up a little later. We all had an abundance of bug bites while in Kauai, but we saw less bugs than expected in this house. We loved that the beach was so convenietly right in front of the house. The sand is a bit coarse in Anini, and we didn't see many fish. Most of this area is only deep enough to snorkel at high tide. There was an injured turtle who camped in front of our house on the beach for a day. Tons of song birds and beautiful scenery. The road needs some maintenace, but our mini van usually didn't bottom out on it.

The rental ownership changed after our reservation was already made. Hawaii Life now manages the house. Communications during the change was flawless. This was are second stay in the house and the entire family loved it. Plenty of snorkeling gear, towels and beach chairs. The island was pretty stormy, but snorkeling Anini was good everyday. House was clean. We wil likely rent this house again. The location is perfect for relaxing without the crowds of a resort.
