Welcome to Hale Hokua Nalu! This incredible 3 bedroom, 2 bath home near the ocean just oozes with style and charm, and is the perfect place to come home and relax after a day exploring the East side of the Big Island!

From the time you arrive, you can hear the sounds of the ocean just a block away! The downstairs has a master bedroom suite with a queen bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds. Upstairs you’ll find the gorgeous, remodeled kitchen, indoor dining, living room with fireplace (it does get chilly from time to time in the winters on the Big Island!), and another bedroom with a queen bed and guest bathroom. And then there’s the lanai – with ocean views, outdoor dining, separate outdoor seating and lounge chairs. There’s also a gas grill.

The newly remodeled kitchen is quite large and is perfect for preparing those scrumptious island meals. The dining table seats 6 and there’s extra seating at the bar for 2 more.

Walking around the property you'll find there are several fruiting trees, including a HUGE avocado tree, and a starfruit tree!

Hale Hokua O Nalu has all the amenities that you are looking for in that perfect vacation destination, including cable/satellite TV, high-speed internet, washer/dryer and more.

This home is conveniently located in the ever-popular and sunny Hawaiian Beaches subdivision and is walking distance to the public shoreline and Kahakai Park nearby - perfect for whale watching! The quaint 1800's village of Pahoa is a 10 minutes’ drive with oodles of yummy restaurants, drug and grocery stores and gas stations. Historic Hilo town is a quick 20 mile drive, and the ever impressive Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is about 45 minutes away.

Enjoyed the home and space to spread out. Breakfast & computer on the 2nd fl patio was perfect. Quiet community with easy walk to ocean overlook & nearby park.

Lower level bedrooms would benefit from portable hvac units as provided for 2nd fl bedroom.

This is a really great vacating rental. If would definitely be our choice for aly future vacations on the Big Island oif it weren't for the price going beyond our budget.

We throughly enjoyed the lanai. Our host was attentive to our needs as well. We lacked nothing.
We were close enough to take daily wake to to the shore.

This truly is an amazing property.

We had a great 2-week stay in this homeaway. Not located near much retail, we enjoyed neighborhood walks and the sound of the pounding surf. Just blocks away there were beautiful views of the Pacific.

End of the road location, walk to ocean in a few minutes but you can hear the ocean from the deck(no ocean view). At night, it's a rainforest melody (so get use to it or buy ear plugs) Note that cell service is minimal at best and we have a few power outages. But, we loved that. Wifi was for the most part working. We were here during some record rainfall(locals told us that) so this may have impacted the above. House was accurate to the photos. I did have to buy a pillow as I didn't like any of them. That's just personal taste. My husband travels with his. A few missing kitchen essentials due to COVID but we asked management for them, and they had it the items there within hours. Great service from Hawaii Life.

We jumped ship from the mainland and found the accommodations at Hale Hokua O Nalu perfect for rest and relaxation. The property had everything we needed - including chairs, umbrella, and cooler for the beach. We loved hearing the frogs and birds in the surrounding lush landscape. The location is close to Pahoa, for all your needs. Highly recommend staying here!
