We absolutely love this home. The property is beautiful with a beautiful beach front views on the front, and mountain views in the back. An easy 5-10 minute walk into town. The kitchen is well stocked, and the home is spacious. Property manager very responsive and helpful. 10/10 experience.

Lani Kai is more beautiful than the photos. Lots of seating in the living room, well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and linens, bicycles for quick ride into town, bonus hot tub, nice grill, great views from best spot on bay (pine tree beach), abundant morning birdsong from trees, waterfall in distance from kitchen window. It is worth every penny.

We stayed at this house with our family of 5 for a week, and had a family visitor for three of those days. There is a second master that is very private, which was perfect for our visiting family member.

Lani Kai is located right on the beach in beautiful Hanalei, with volleyball courts just in front and a long stretch of walkable beach. The home is so lovely and accommodates big family gatherings for both visiting and dining. There’s a remarkable huge table around which 16 family members sat during our wonderful stay there. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a convenient, and beautiful setting. The management was also very helpful and attentive.

We absolutely loved our experience here and would very much recommend this to anyone. We have rented houses in Hawaii for some 6 years and this was the best presented house we have so far used. Only comment would be (as we love using them) which we have in most other houses, is that cruiser bikes should be included in the rental. Otherwise lovely house and location!

My husband and both sets of our parents recently stayed at Lani Kai. This property is absolutely beautiful! Located on our favorite stretch of Hanalei Bay - the quieter, less crowded end - Lani Kai has beautiful views, is perfectly decorated, and appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I honestly never wanted to leave. We especially appreciated all of the details and "extras" that make this home so fabulous: beach chairs and boogie boards, plenty of beach towels, outdoor showers, etc. The management, Hawaii Life, was very easy to communicate with and gave us perfect instructions for check-in. We hope to return year after year.

Lani Kai is a dream rental- one of the best beach locations in the world at your back door in a good sized, well-designed home. In general equipment was good and appropriate; furniture functional; excellent beds and bathrooms plus the joy of 3 outdoor showers with hot water.
There were 7 adults in our party (no children). Space was more than adequate.
We'd love to return.

House was perfect, very well appointed kitchen which we made way too little use of, has A/C which I wasn't expecting, cable tv ,music system we figured out on the last day, extremely peaceful bedrooms ,very beautiful outdoor bathrooms (and indoor too if you prefer).I am hesitant to tell too many people about it in case it gets too popular and we can't rent it again..Only small thing I could say in critique is that it has a main parking lot next door and a public picnic bench and volleyball court directly in front of it where people tend to congregate especially on the weekends, but my kids got into watching the evening volleyball matches which were great.

Lani Kai was a perfect rental. A great view of the ocean yet set back and private from the beach. The house is beautiful, very clean with a well supplied kitchen. To find this rental online and have it turn out so pleasing was wonderful. If the owners want to make it any better, add a hot tub!

We used to live part time in Kauai and hadn't returned in eight years. We brought our daughter, son-in-law and 2 1/2 year old grandaughter to Hanalei. We rented the Lani Kai home on the beach which was perfect for us. The home was newly updated, clean and had everything a vacationing family needed. In my mind Hanalei beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the Lani Kai home sits right there. There is and will always be something very special about the North Shore of Kauai. A truly wonderful experience for all of us. We'll be back soon.

we really loved the house and its location. we could carry our boards from the yard right to the beautiful beach. we rented bikes and took them all around the sleepy little beach town of Hanalei. the house was beautifully updated and was attended to carefully. while we were there someone came to tend the yard and clean the grill. when the propane tank burned out, Hawaii Life replaced the next day. Only things we really missed was screens on the two doors - one at the kitchen and one to the bedroom. the air conditioning available was also fantastic to those of us that wanted to use it. Mattresses all very comfortable and appreciated all the sundries. look forward to staying here again. Mahalo

We thoroughly enjoyed out vacation in Kauai. The island is beautiful and so diverse.
The house had a lovely decor and a very peaceful atmosphere. We were impressed with furnishings, location and the lush gardens. The house had all cooking necessities and the bbq was clean. The linens were a nice quality and beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outdoor showers and with five of us showering, we never ran out of hot water.
The house was a it damp upon arrival but once we opened the sliding doors and windows it dried out and was quite breezy and refreshing.
The concierge service was awesome. They were available at all times and made our vacation seemless.
Hanalei Bay is now one of our favourite beaches and the town was only a 2 minute bike ride away.
All in all a holiday to remember. We will be back.
