Sea Shells is a beautiful spacious family-friendly beach front vacation home with a heated lagoon pool, strong air conditioning, three bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, all set directly on gorgeous award-winning sandy Ka`anapali Beach. This west-facing home serves up glorious scarlet sunsets and dazzling moonsets, along with some of the island's best whale watching during the winter season. Ka`anapali Beach is perfect for long romantic walks, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, sailing and scuba diving.

At Sea Shells, discerning guests will luxuriate in a contemporary styled and privacy gated home set on one acre of landscaped grounds with central air conditioning, a lagoon shaped free form heated swimming pool, outdoor hot tub spa, high speed wireless internet service, HD television service in several rooms with Netflix service in the living room, ipod docks in each bedroom and the living room, a hotel type of safe for valuables, office nook with a fax/printer/scanner, and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen with abundant good-quality cooking, dining, and serving supplies.

The exceptional swimming pool reflects graceful palm trees which frame the garden. Swim under the stars at night by the light of tiki torches. We love this pool and consider it one of the most attractive and inviting of any vacation home in the islands! During cooler months the pool is heated on a complimentary basis.

The great room of Sea Shells Beach House opens to the outdoor patio and pool and has cathedral ceilings with two lounging areas in addition to an entertainment center with iPod dock, CD surround sound, DVD, VCR and new flat panel LCD television with premium channels and digital reception. The kitchen has just been re-stocked with all new supplies and small appliances commensurate with luxury standards, including an espresso machine, coffee grinder, abundant service ware, red and white wine glasses, champagne flutes, martini glasses, Henckel knives, top quality cookware, and so much more to use and enjoy! In particular, we are fond of the new center-island wood table, expansive granite counters, dual dishwashers and sinks, and large Sub-Zero fridge with ice maker.

Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own private en-suite bathroom and entertainment system. A convenient office nook provides a large desk, ethernet cable to hook into the high speed cable modem, office supply, fax, and brand new multi-function office machine. There are two laundry centers. Use of the garage is available.

The single level design of Seashells Beach House provides very comfortable living for guests with limited physical movement. This property can be enjoyed by guests using a wheelchair although it is not specifically out-fitted for special needs.

A hop and skip from Sea Shells is a beach front kiosk which rents ocean sports equipment including surf boards, boogie boards, skim boards, Hobie cats and snorkel sets. During summer months jet skis may be rented in front of the Hyatt Hotel. A convenient beach front restaurant, Castaway, is adjacent to the kiosk serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual beach front setting. The primary Ka`anapali Resort hotels as well as Whaler's Village Shopping Center and its many restaurants featuring live music on the beach, can be reached within 1-2 minutes by car or on foot if you hike some distance down the beach through the Sheraton Ka`anapali Resort, then along a paved pedestrian walking promenade that hugs the coastal beach. From the heart of Ka`anapali Beach hop on a sailing catamaran for a snorkel sail, scuba diving, or romantic sunset cocktail cruise. West Maui airport is minutes away for easy access from other islands. The recreational activities available within Ka`anapali Resort are endless.

A private chef is available for hire to grocery shop, or to prepare and serve up to 3 meals per day. You may wish to consider the luxury of having a chef-prepared gourmet dinner served in-villa and al-fresco on your arrival evening! Ready-to-grill complete meals can be delivered, or fully cooked ready-to-eat dining including salads and snacks are additional options.

SPECIFIC RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS STIPULATED BY MAUI COUNTY AS A CONDITION FOR GRANTING SEA SHELLS BEACH HOUSE A SHORT-TERM (Vacation) RENTAL PERMIT/LICENSE:

  • Quiet Hours From 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., During Which Time the Noise from the Short-Term Rental Home Shall Not Unreasonably Disturb Adjacent Neighbors
  • Sound that is Audible Beyond the Property Boundaries During Non-Quiet Hours Shall Not be More Excessive than Would be Otherwise Associated with a Residential Area
  • Amplified Sound that is Audible Beyond the Property Boundaries of the Short-Term Rental Home is Prohibited
  • Vehicles Shall be Parked in the Designated Onsite Parking Area and Shall Not be Parked on the Street
  • No Parties and No Group Gatherings Other than Registered Guests Shall Occur
  • Occupancy is for 2 Guests per Bedroom
  • Rental is for One Set of Guests (one family) at a time. Property is Not Rented at the Same Time to Unaffiliated Persons
  • Guests May Not Bring Personal Amplified Sound/Music Devices to the Property. They Cannot be Used Inside or Outside of Sea Shells Beach House. No Exceptions Allowed.

Rates include One Complimentary Mid-Stay Housekeeping Service Included with Bed and Bath Linen Change For Every 7 Nights Rented at Advertised Price. Post-Departure Cleaning is Pre-Collected per the Out-cleaning Charge in Rate Quote.

Minimum night stay is 6 nights 

These rates are valid as of the current date. Rates are subject to change until reserved with a signed Rental Application & Agreement and payment of the initial amount due. Taxes are subject to change by the State of Hawaii at any time and without advance notice to the guest.

Infants and toddlers under two (2) years of age at the time of occupancy, may be excluded from the total guest count. Toddlers and children age two (2) and above at the time of occupancy will be included in the total guest count. The total guest count may not exceed the stated number of persons. We reserve the right to request (and receive prior to accepting a reservation), actual written proof of birth date (month/day/year) for any toddlers or infants a family wishes to have excluded from the total guest count.

Occupancy is granted for the maximum number of guests noted above. Excess occupancy is not allowed and may also be regulated by resort and/or local County of Maui ordinance.
