Beautiful property with lots of amenities. The house had everything we needed and the views are amazing. The garage is an added benefit with ping pong and foosball in addition to bikes and beach equipment, especially on rainy days. Just a tip, the most comfortable mattress is in the first bedroom, not the primary. Would definitely stay here again.

Camp Magic is so close to the beach and town. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay - laundry, beach gear, bikes. Be aware that there is a significant flight of stairs to the front door - so you'll be going up and down a lot. There is a bit of a view of the ocean from the main room, but no lanai.

First of all...we lived Hanalei. Secondly...Camp Magic 1 was magical!!! Truly a perfect home. Great location. Excellent amenities (bikes, surfboards, boogie boards..all we used). We were looking for a staycation that felt like we "got away" but with the comforts of "home" and we definitely found it and then some! Just a few moments from Hanalei Bay and Hanalei Town, we enjoyed every minute of it. The bikes and game room were lots of fun, and the jacuzzi was amazing under the Hanalei sky or for a quick dip after a swim in the bay. The outside shower was also a plus. It has all the amenities in the living spaces as well, especially the kitchen! We look forward to another opportunity to experience the MAGIC again in the future.

This was supposed to be a very special trip for our two families. We were taking our 4 year old son and his 3 year old best friend (plus dad, mom, and sister) on their first trip! Hawaii announced its first confirmed Covid-19 cases a week before we departed. We were scared and decided we shouldn't risk our health and safety. I put in requests to Prop Mgr Kahea via voicemail, email, and text to please allow us to cancel. She replied via text declining a refund. I then asked if she would at least honor what I heard other companies were offering - to reschedule in the next 12 months at 75% credit towards rebooking – she again said No.
In hindsight, no vacation is worth your health, but knowing we were going to lose our money, we went on the trip. We'd make the best of the situation for the kids, wear masks while traveling, not dine out, stay away from crowds... Traveling through the airport was nerve wracking, and we nearly went home while waiting to catch our flight.
We checked in on Sun 4pm, then spent the rest of the eve at the beach. That night the weather turned and a storm rolled in. The next day during a break in the rain, we took the kids for shave ice. Long story short, there is only one road into the town, and when the river rose, the County shut the road – for 32 hours! On Monday night after waiting six hours, we finally gave up and the 2 moms and 3 kids caught a flight back to Oahu. Since all our belongings were still in the house, the 2 dads stayed behind waiting for the road to open.
The communication with this company has been horrible. Just today, Fri, they replied to my request for a partial refund. This has been one of the worst experiences. We lost a lot of money, precious time, and added stress for everyone, because they valued profits over people. I do want to say that Tanya, the home mgr was wonderful, understanding, and offered to help us in any way. Hawaii Life should have done the right thing and allowed us to cancel

This is a nice house with easy access to the beach. There is a small view of the bay. We surfed Pine Trees every day walking to the beach. House is well equipped for family fun. Bikes, wave storms, boogie boards, and sand toys were stocked. Great entertainment area in the garage. This experience was better than expected. We will return:)

There are two houses on the same property. They are completely renovating the other house behind this unit so it is not quiet during day hours. Construction trucks blocked the garage entrances and driveway to Camp Magic during the week so if you're booking during the week, please be aware of this. This hindered our experience using the amenities in the garage the entire week as it was very uncomfortable having the doors open to trucks blocking the way and always having kids be careful not to get ping pong balls or gear near said trucks in way. It was also very tricky to use the outdoor shower after the beach as a truck would completely block the shower and we didn't want to trek sand in. We were also completely woken up one morning at 7:30am by a worker to move our car which was in a designated spot so that a construction dumpster could be replaced. Very inconvenient.

Besides the construction issues....One of the ceiling fans in the main room and microwave were both broken during our stay, as well as the light in the laundry room. The dryer is also very strong and will eat up any string or straps easily so use with caution even on delicate cycle. The owner was very responsive but ineffective with coming up with solutions to resolve our issues during our stay. Dust bunnies on all lights and fans upon entry. If not on top of cleaning, ants in damp areas especially kitchen. Pro is close proximity to beach and all the beach equipment available for use in garage.

Our extended family stayed at Camp Magic 1 for a week in February. The home is clean and well-maintained. We had to call the property manager to replace a light-bulb and she was at the house within a half an hour. The kitchen is serviceable but could use a few more serving bowls and utensils. We hosted a dinner one night and it was stretched but for family meals, it worked just fine. The house is within easy walking distance of both the beach and the downtown area.

Overall, our stay was great! We rented both homes on the property and enjoyed the game room, beach chairs, coolers, and grills! The only thing I would highly recommend is a/c in the bedrooms in the back house or at least lighter bed spread. We used the concierge to book events, and our Luau didn't have our reservation for 13, but found a way to fit us in. For paddle boarding, Mike didn't return our calls later in the week to rent again. So, we went to another place. I didn't know we were paying 20% fee for the concierge, otherwise I would have made all the reservations myself. I just wish I could get the fee back from the concierge for Tahiti Nui not having our reservation. The houses were very clean and well stocked with everything you need to entertain and going to the beach!! I would stay here again, but I would research and make my own reservations.

So, we went to another place. I didn't know we were paying 20% fee for the concierge, otherwise I would have made all the reservations myself. I just wish I could get the fee back from the concierge for Tahiti Nui not having our reservation. The houses were very clean and well stocked with everything you need to entertain and going to the beach!! I would stay here again, but I would research and make my own reservations.

We ordered a bin of toys and a buggy from "Babylicious" (highly recommend them too) which proved very helpful when taking our gear the five minute walk to the local beach. The location is also ideal to walk to town. The Concierge was also helpful with recommendations. Icing on the cake ... the weather was fabulous.

We loved this place.Location is great, it is well-equipped, and the view is lovely...would have preferred a larger deck but that didn't stop us from spending many evenings on it. Only problem was the internet connection which was sporadic at best. It obviously needs new wiring. I would strongly recommend this lovely place.

We were celebrating 70/60 bdays with extended family who rented 3 other homes in the area, but our home was truly the best. We were greeted with a delicious fruit bowl and the Hawaii Life app was very helpful and easy to use. It gave us all the info we needed and so did the home itself. Krisha was also very helpful. We asked for a shade canopy (highly recommend) and she had someone deliver it right to our house. So easy. Fun for the all of us to play ping pong, foos ball and enjoy the hot tub. Gorgeous grounds and the renters behind us in the other rental were very respectful of noise, etc. They were great neighbors! We hope to be back again and we hope this lovely home will be available!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! We had two families and both houses were great! Each one had equal amenities so everyone felt comfortable. The location was great and our kids loved being so close to the beach. Would recommend this property in a heart beat...I know we'll bebback again!

Wonderful experience! Just a few comments - home was a little farther walk to the beach than expected from description, and code to get into the home was incorrect (thankfully the maid was still there and helped us in!). Otherwise, absolutely beautiful home and very helpful staff. Thanks!

As I said in the review for the house behind this one, we rented both houses for a large family get together and these properties worked out perfectly. The kitchens were great, and we easily cooked for the 14 of us who stayed in both houses. The beach (Hanalei Bay) is a block away and was great for early morning walks--a great sandy beach! The town was also only a block away so everything was close and convenient. We had a great time and would stay there again in a minute. I cant recommend this property enough.

Besides being located a block from Hanalei Bay, this house had so much to offer. Plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen full of various utensils, great views, the list goes on and on, not to mention the second house located on the property as well. I would recommend this house to anyone, and hope to be back someday!

We loved this place.Location is great, it is well-equipped, and the view is lovely...would have preferred a larger deck but that didn't stop us from spending many evenings on it. Only problem was the internet connection which was sporadic at best. It obviously needs new wiring. I would strongly recommend this lovely place.
