Our family of 11 stayed in both houses. It really was a “magical “ experience. The views of the ocean and the mountains with the waterfalls were amazing.
Both houses were decorated in a comfortable and tasteful way.
There was room enough for all of us to enjoy meals together without the feeling of being too crowded.
One of the best things was not having to drive to the beach or into town. A young child could easily walk to both.
We would certainly come back here again.

The kitchen was perfectly equipped and everything was in very good condition, along with the high end cooktop and refrigerator. While I never thought we would use the hot tub, it was nice after a couple of cooler beach days and was also very clean. There was a nice, new BBQ which worked great and two sets of washers/dryers! That was awesome for our two families!

This house is perfect for two families traveling together ,as each family has it's own space with separate entrances. We had fun playing pool in the downstairs unit and also loved the two bikes, and foam boards to surf the small waves at Pine trees. Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and snorkel equipment all were in good condition too. A miracle for a rental house!

Even though the property has another house that was rented out while we were there, we never had a problem with noise. Its a great set up if you have a large group with multiple families, and we hope next time to get our whole group together in both houses.

We had the greatest time staying in Hanalei Bay and at the Malapua House. There were 8 of us staying at the house - we rented the entire house and there was more than enough room for all of us. The house was basically well supplied and the location was perfect for us. It was a very short walk to Hanlei Bay and to Hanalei town. The town offered Kayaking, snorkeling, Napoli Coast tours etc. You never have to leave the north shore if you don't want to leave. Everything is within a short drive or walking distance. Loved the local color of the town and especially the local people. Hawaii Life was very helpful, especially Nickie and Krisha. There were a couple of issues resulting from the fact that the original contract was done with a private owner who then sold the house to Hawaii Life. We definitely plan to return to Kauai again and would consider renting Malapua House again.

The entire experience was truly one of a kind. The house was great. It was in a perfect location. And was very clean and modern. Our entire family of 5 was very comfortable staying at Camp Magic 2 with lots of space for the kids. We would definitely recommend it.

Hanalei, for me the most beautiful place on the most beautiful Hawaiian Island. The price is high but ok. The house was very clean and perfect locatet. Just minutes from the beach. There is a great barbecue grill (high quality). The beds are comfortable. The hot Tube, you think you don't need hot water in Hawaii. Its the best after surfing! Simply a great stay!

Hanalei, for me the most beautiful place on the most beautiful Hawaiian Island. The price is high but ok. The house was very clean and perfect locatet. Just minutes from the beach. There is a great barbecue grill (high quality). The beds are comfortable. The hot Tube, you think you don't need hot water in Hawaii. Its the best after surfing! Simply a great stay!

Hanalei, for me the most beautiful place on the most beautiful Hawaiian Island. The price is high but ok. The house was very clean and perfect locatet. Just minutes from the beach. We stayed in the house - three couples and one single person. We used the hot tub and pool table as well as upstairs and downstairs lounge areas, and the back upstairs dining area. The house is beautiful and really very conveniently located. No complaints! The management staff were also incredibly easy to deal with and very helpful in every way.

Nice house, in the most beautiful area of Kauai. The beach and shops are easily accessible and the house sits in a quiet street.

The upstairs area is great, with a kitchen well set up to cook for many people - it even has a waffle iron!

The two bedrooms downstairs are not very well ventilated and a bit small, probably more suited to kids than adults.

The entire experience was truly one of a kind. The house was great. It was in a perfect location. And was very clean and modern. Our entire family of 5 was very comfortable staying at Camp Magic 2 with lots of space for the kids. We would definitely recommend it.

We had an excellent time. My only complaint is that there were 6 beach chairs for 8 people. Overall it was an incredible experience.

We rented this house and the one in front of it for 8 days. We had a large group for a family reunion of sorts and we had a fabulous time. The house was more than adequate and one block from Hanalei Bay--couldn't be better. The kitchen was perfect and I never tired of looking at the mountains from the back lanai. There are bedrooms upstairs with more downstairs, a pool table, a hot tub and a great BBQ grill. I would recommend this house to any and all.

Great rental fully equipped with modern furnishings! Had everything you needed for cooking full dinners and BBQing. Easy walk to town and all amenities.

We rented both upstairs and downstairs of this property both were clean and well outfitted, there wasn't anything we really needed during our stay that wasn't there and very high end. It is close to downtown and to the beach with many amenities including a private six person hot tub. If you are traveling with multiple families like we were, the upstais and downstairs made it very easy.

An amazing house to stay at, newly renovated and fantastic location only 5 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to the town. The hot tub and back deck with mountain views were stunning. The agents we dealt with for the property were also very helpful and friendly. I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat.

We had the greatest time staying in Hanalei Bay and at the Malapua House. There were 8 of us staying at the house - we rented the entire house and there was more than enough room for all of us. The house was basically well supplied and the location was perfect for us. It was a very short walk to Hanlei Bay and to Hanalei town. The town offered Kayaking, snorkeling, Napoli Coast tours etc. You never have to leave the north shore if you don't want to leave. Everything is within a short drive or walking distance. Loved the local color of the town and especially the local people. Hawaii Life was very helpful, especially Nickie and Krisha. There were a couple of issues resulting from the fact that the original contract was done with a private owner who then sold the house to Hawaii Life. We definitely plan to return to Kauai again and would consider renting Malapua House again.
