We have stayed in several rental properties on the island and this is by far our favorite. The condo was fully stocked with quality items, clean rooms, and upgraded furniture. The bathrooms and bedrooms are large and cool with the AC units. Note there is no central air so the living and kitchen can get warm. The views of sunrise from the living room and sunset from the edge of the cliff are not to be missed. There was also ample parking directly in front of the unit with was a bonus. This unit is perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4.

We booked this unit for our family vacation with our teenager and younger daughter. It was absolutely amazing!!! The location is picturesque. Honestly the pictures don’t do the unit justice. We had an amazing time & cannot wait to come back next year. We can’t wait to book here again!

Great condo, every last detail was thought out! Comfortable, spacious for 2 couples. Screen slider to patio needs to be fixed. Looked as if it had been off track for quite some time. Was not functional when we got there. Very hard to open and get closed so no bugs get in.

Our family loved this condo! The location is ideal, close to adorable town of Hanalei and a 10 minute walk from Hideaway Beach. It is extremely clean and very well furnished, including everything we needed for the beach. We will miss the gorgeous views!

The house was very useful. It didn't feel too formal where you couldn't be comfortable, but, it was clean and well kept. Kitchen could use a few extra utensils. The guest bath has a great partition that effectively makes two master suites. It was the perfect setup for two couples travelling together. The back window has a beautiful view of the golf course but you can't really go too far off your patio or the golfers get a bit upset that you are in their fairway, which makes sense since they don't want to hit you with their ball. Great place. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hale Emmalani #311. It was the perfect layout for two couples and an infant. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook, prep and store food. We found the beds to be super comfy. We enjoyed morning walks to The Spot for breakfast and it will be a quick walk over to the 1 Hotel when it's open. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises from the back lanai and would walk out the back door and to the left about 200 yards for great sunset views overlooking the water. We were there the week of the NCAA Basketball Championship and the Masters and the guys said they wish the TV was a little bigger/updated, but that was the only "negative." But you don't come to Kauai to watch TV :) We spent our days at Hanalei or Anini Beach. Bar Acuda was the best meal we had all week! Would definitely stay here again!

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in June of 2021. Very luxurious and spacious. Ground level with a pleasant patio facing the open space of a golf course. Comfortable and quiet. Clean. Great shower and good bed. Nicely equipped kitchen. Located near the end of the main Princeville road which made it easy to access two beaches.

Now for some not so good points - even though you are a few 100 yards from the ocean you can’t see or enjoy it - they have security that won’t let you walk near the course - insurance worries they claim - to get to a beach is a drive or a walk that is not easy especially with chairs etc 100’s of stairs down and then obviously back up.

We couldn’t have hoped a better unit for our stay on the North Shore! The unit is magnificent; located on a beautiful golf course and in a very peaceful neighborhood. This unit is very well described and looks exactly like the pictures! Everything is provided; beach towels; chairs; umbrella... a fully equipped kitchen (spices, foil, Saranwrap, Tupperware etc) we couldn’t ask for more! We enjoyed our walks in the morning to nearby beaches and lookout points. Princeville centre is closeby and convenient for groceries. Hanalei is 15 minutes drive at the most; for a beautiful beach! These owners highly qualify as super hosts!! We would definitely come back!! Thank you!!!

My stay at Hale Emmalani was relaxing. The sounds of birds ,the golf course view, even the sound of the rain at times all made for a relaxing stay. What can you not like ......warm temperatures and a place to be for a while that feels like home. Our contact person was friendly and if we had a problem were able to have it taken care of mostly promptly.

I only have good things to say about Hale Emmalani. The condo was spotless, beautifully decorated, and maintained. It was perfectly appointed for our week long stay. In the kitchen there were quality kitchen knives, glass food storage containers, and nice kitchen towels (my personal measure of a well appointed vacation rental kitchen). They even have filtered water so you don't have to buy plastic bottles of water. Plus essentials for a relaxing vacation...beach chairs, basket, coolers, blue ice. The views from the the living room, master bedroom and lanai were lovely. I think we enjoyed unwinding at the condo as much as exploring Kauai itself which says a lot! The rental agency was highly efficient and professional, with clear instructions for arrival and departure. The location was outstanding. Once on the North shore we were surrounded by wonderful beaches and equally yummy food. It felt like everything we wanted was only 10 minutes away. It was a perfect getaway. Just steps from arching ocean and mountain views, and jaw-dropping sunsets, it is everything you came to Hawaii for. The condo offers a fully functional kitchen with gourmet cookware, modern appliances (14-cup coffeemaker!), and a spacious counter that serves as a place for people to sit, eat and socialize with the chef.
The dining room is cozy with a large table for meals, card-playing, puzzles, etc. The open-plan kitchen and dining room are integrated with a comfy, relaxed living room that contains two recliners, a sofa, a wall-mounted TV (cable included) and a Bluetooth speaker for music. The wall of windows allows for a mesmerizing view of the golf course and the beautiful, ever-changing Kauai sky.
The bedrooms are furnished with writing desks, dressers, and supremely comfortable king-size beds. Seriously, the beds are amazing! Each bathroom is very modern and spotless. Both have a large walk-in shower and spacious dressing areas. An added perk is a stackable washer and dryer in the condo.
Surrounded by palm trees, orchids, and other tropical foliage, the lanai is a delightful place from which to observe the sunrise and enjoy morning coffee. Outdoor furniture makes it a fun locale for meals and card games, too. We spent a lot of time out there. It is accessible from glass doors in the living room and the master bedroom. The condo complex has a nice pool, Jacuzzi, and BBQ area steps away. We didn’t barbecue, but we enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi.
Quaint Hanalei is a short drive from the condo. The area boasts beaches, swimming, hiking, spas, and myriad eating establishments. There’s a farmers market nearby almost every day of the week.

We stayed on Kauai for our honeymoon and wanted a relaxing, low key getaway and this condo in Princeville was the perfect location for us. The accommodations were clean, well equipped and thoroughly thought out. It immediately felt like home to us. Approximately halfway through our stay we heard what sounded like a child’s footsteps running across the floor upstairs from our downstairs location, but, it didn’t rise to the level of being a nuisance and was the only noise we heard other than the landscapers one morning. It was just the two of us, but the condo could easily accommodate a larger family. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai and the beautiful grounds that over look the ocean. There is no direct ocean view from the condo, but great relaxing views of the golf course just outside the lanai. The few questions we had were quickly and efficiently answered by the assigned point of contact.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay and cannot wait to return. We have no regrets about the location we chose.
