The property was just as described - brand new carpets were installed and the kitchen was updated, but much of this unit needs a reno to catch up with the times. The furniture was dated and not super comfy, including the bed. We didn't spend much time sitting inside, though. Could for sure use a new mattress. There are no in-unit ACs so they did have portable AC units in the front room and bedroom, which helped a bit.
The view of the beach can't beat and the terrace is big enough to sit out even in the dumping rain and stay protected - loved enjoying the evening rain while sitting outside with our drinks.
Had minimal communication with the property management team - nothing came up so no need to reach out. Property was sparkling clean and well-maintained. Be sure to note, this is a third-floor walk up unit with no elevator. I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues but great otherwise. I appreciated how close this unit is to everything at the Coconut Marketplace - plenty of restaurant options and the island's biggest ABC store to help stock the kitchen. Loved that parking was included and easy to find a spot every evening when we got back.

It was magical to sit on the lanai and watch and hear the waves on the beach. Walking distance to numerous restaurants and a convenience store to buy groceries and meals. There were many days we didn’t have to use our car. We would definitely use the same condo again in the future.

My partner and I had a great time staying here. The view is incredible and the property had all needed amenities! We both worked here the entire time and the WiFi was great as well. Can't recommend enough.

The condo was decorated visually good but the furniture was very uncomfortable. The rugs where listed as new but where stained and dirty nice view . The area is BBC very sketchy area but ckose to stores and restaurants.

Our condo was nice, cable tv, and newer updates. This unit was closer to the main road and we did have a lot of road noise. The sound bar to the tv was easy to connect however, the cable/tv switched itself off, often. You would need to reboot, find your app/program and reconnect the sound bar. The unit is fully carpeted in the common areas, we didn't love that. The lanai storage closet had lots of toys to borrow, we added to with with nice pool floats. The kitchen was small but functioned well, it came with cooking tools, soap, trash bags, we added to the spice collection for the next guest. I think anyone would be happy to vacation there.

Enjoyed the views from the balcony and was well stocked with beach gear and everything you’d need in a kitchen. The location was great! It’s walking distance to Coconuts Marketplace which had plenty of dinner options, and convenient to get to both the north and south side of the island.

The view is great. Kitchen fairly well stocked. Huge issue is poor AC. Unit gets very warm esp at night, difficult to cool bedroom for sleep. Difficult to contact rental staff on weekends, no response after multiple calls.

The place was great- clean, convenient , easy travel to all the spots! Only downside - The portable AC was loud and in the livingroom, needed fans in the bedroom, also loud. We did sleep, but if you're sensitive , may be an issue for you. Also, being an island destination, a couple of beach chairs and cooler wouldve been the icing on the cake.

The condo was very nice. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had condiments and starter coffee. The living ares was comfortable. The bedroom was comfortable. The only down side was the noise from the road in the mornings and the fact it was on the third floor. They should include that information in the write up.

Arrival Instructions need to be more detailed, 'after entering gate make an immediate right-go up the incline even though the arrow points out.’Someone needs to be available after hours to answer calls. If we hadn’t gotten out & walked around to every building we would not have found it. Lending library as well as books & games inside the unit, nice. Bed is comfortable but pillows are not. Kitchen faucet must be turned to cold to stop the flow of water. Master bath needs a light that allows you to see, very dark-no stopper in tub. Having large fans in every room & the window a/c certainly helps cool the unit-detracts from the beauty & are not shown in the photos. Lanai lovely furniture-pillow on footstool needs repair. Gorgeous view. Could use a broom to sweep the front door mat when taking shoes off. Appreciated the sweeper although you can only use it pulling it toward you. Lots of hangers in the closet & plenty of drawer space. Hair in tub & black bedroom lamp desperately needs cleaning. There were no beach items in the condo even though they are shown in the photos & stated in the description. No baking dishes in the kitchen. After regular maintenance completed cleaning the lines in the bathroom, they completed their work & left. Shortly after, a high pitched sound started coming from the bathroom. It would start/stop every few seconds. Called the rental company, no answer. Next day was told to call owner. Ad says TV is 72”. It is actually more like 48". Guest book said that wine & beer was left for us & they had just left the day before. There was nothing.

The condo we stayed in was perfect for our honeymoon celebration. It was incredibly clean and has an absolutely amazing ocean view. Waking up every morning hearing the waves crashing on the beach was incredible. Even without air conditioning, the condo was still very pleasant and cool at night with the ocean breeze and fans in the condo. The location is perfect; plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We have basically no complaints and had an excellent time staying at Lae Nani 434!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and we loved it. We really wanted to explore the whole island and this was a great central location to do that. Both the north and south sides are a quick drive away. The pool is really big and the beach in front of the resort is actually really great. I would definitely recommend this condo to everyone!

- comfortable bed and overall apartment layout
- roomy for 2 people
- amazing view with lanai to enjoy it
- fairly complete kitchen for a vacation home
- easy walk to the beach

Cons:
- no AC, and trust me, when it’s 93F out with 90% humidity, open windows and fans just don’t cut it.
- vacation rentals all around which means it can get loud, the 10pm quiet time is cleary not observed the same way by all tenants/renters
- since there is no AC you have windows open 24/7 which means there is no noise insolation whatsoever, and even with “closed” windows, they don’t seal, so 0 noise insulation
- traffic is really bad on Kauai due to all kinds of road work, and the street this apartment is on has a limited left turn ability when coming out, which means you can add 2-5min to your commute if you are going towards Lihue anytime after 10am
- Kapaa is a very card dependent location
