There is limited space in parking lot and some street parking, so it helps to arrive early.
It is a great beach for picnics and family days as it is largely protected from afternoon winds. However, always be aware that strong rip currents, high surf, and shore break pose potential hazards. The steep sloping shoreline can create strong undertow in high surf conditions.
