Kahana is a picturesque beachfront community along a beautiful stretch of coastline in Napili-Honokowai in northwest Maui just south of Napili Bay. The Kahana coastline has views of the distant islands of Lanai and Molokai, and is a great place to see humpback whales offshore during the winter months.
The Kahana Gateway Shopping Center provides many dining and entertainment opportunities including Roy’s Kahana Bar & Grill and the Maui Brewing Company as well as many interesting shops.
The Napili-Honokowai region is home to about 7,000 people in an area of about 7 square miles. Coves along this coastline are protected by coral reef and lined with white sand including the popular Napili Beach. Nearby is the Kapalua West Maui Airport.
Kahana is located between the posh resort areas of Kapalua and Kaanapali where you can find championship golf courses, shopping, dining and great beaches. Not far from Kahana is the excitement of Lahaina town.
