Located in Waikiki’s Kapiolani Park at the base of Diamond Head, the Waikiki Shell is an outdoor theater set amidst tropical greenery. The stage of the shell-shaped facility benefits from sophisticated acoustics that make the site ideal for concerts.
The Waikiki Shell is also used for graduations and other events.
With Waikiki Beach just across the street and the hotels of Waikiki close by, the Waikiki Shell enjoys an ideal location that makes it a popular venue for convention events and other large gatherings.
Seating at the Waikiki Shell includes nearly 2,000 stadium chair seats, a front “pool area” that seats 500 (or 320 at banquet tables), and seating for 6,000 more people on the lawns. The Waikiki Shell is managed by the Blaisdell Center.
Access: Follow Kalakaua Ave. in Waikiki to the east to Kapiolani Park. Turn right on Kapahulu Ave. and you will see the Waikiki Shell on your left.
