Once inside, this well appointed condo has been tastefully updated to truly exemplify a modern, tropical vibe. The generously-sized kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, an outward facing cooktop to ensure you never miss that ocean-view, and a gorgeous quartz countertop with a built-in breakfast bar. The living room flows from the kitchen and features a high-end pullout sofa, flat-screen TV with cable, and high-speed internet. The oversized lanai features a dining table for four with panoramic ocean, mountain and lagoon views. From this unit you can see the breath taking views of Kealia Pond.

The bedroom features a luxurious king-sized bed with soft, white linens and gorgeous plantation shutters to block out that early morning sun. In addition, there is central A/C in this unit (a rarity in Hawaii!) which ensures you stay cool at all times during your stay. The bathroom is between the bedroom and main living area and has been beautifully designed with a matching quartz vanity and walk-in shower. The unit also features a full-sized washer and dryer.

Sugar Beach is one of the most conveniently located spots in all of Maui. Just fifteen minutes from the airport, thirty minutes to Lahaina, and just over an hour to the summit of Haleakala, this is the perfect basecamp to adventure. The owners of this unit have provided beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler so all you have to do is pack your bags! You’ll love the wonderful ease of access this location provides. Bath amenities such as shampoos, conditioner, bath wash will be provided. Kitchen ammenities such as dish soap, sponges, paper towels, trash bags, tissues are also provided.
Cleaning services include a Covid sanitation Pre-cleaning fog and post-cleaning fog.
*Every guest must register with the front desk to receive the parking pass and pool code. The pool code is changed every month.
This unit also includes an unassigned parking for 1 vehicle per unit.

We loved our stay at Sugar Beach 502! The bed was extremely comfy. The beach was my little girl's most favorite thing. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities. Maui never disappoints and now we have a new place to stay for future visits.

We were in this part of the island for a wedding and found ourselves across 4 other units in the 2.5 weeks we were in Maui. I can definitively say that this is the best condo we were in between both buildings!

Lot's of pro's - the location of the condo is in a great spot of the complex. you have extra windows since this is on a corner, which makes the condo feel larger (it's already a good size). It has the perfect amount of furniture and was immaculately clean. you can tell it's managed and cleaned professionally. The linens were very cozy and the furniture / mattresses were very comfortable. The island is huge and the whole unit was completely updated. There is a minor paint chippings here and there but it's with normal wear and tear. We absolutely loved staying here! We had two different flight times on our last day and the local host was very flexible and accommodating- she let us stay in the unit until we needed to leave and was able to move the cleaning to the next day to ensure we had a place to be before we needed to the at the airport. This is unusual for most VRBO's but was so appreciated! I also loved that the bathroom was updated and was very clean- unlike other units we stayed in, it wasn't moldy or gross. Very cute updates - the tile and the half wall separating the toilet and shower from the sink make it feel larger. This is a must stay property if you are staying on Sugar Beach!

Con's- really the only con is that this condo is on Sugar Beach lol I am partial to the west wise of the island (but due to the fires we were unable to stay at our original booking). Sugar Beach is a walking beach- not a hangout beach. It smells like dead/ rotting fish every day due to the preserve a bit north of this property. It's unfortunate because the smell really is so off-putting and you cannot escape it. Again, it's not a knock on the unit itself as it has nothing to do with it - it's known that the beach just stinks beyond measure

We had a great time in paradise
although the rain and floods did happen,
the location is in a perfect place to avoid
problems from these events. The only hickup for
us was the very high lanai chairs, and lack of
a normal size table to eat at. The chairs at the
counter could be more comfortable, and don't work
well for short people. The apartment was clean, and
kitchen and supplies were very much appreciated. Only regret was my 5.1 height. I was concerned about the view before we went but very pleased when we arrived. There is a beautiful view of the mountains and water in the bird sanctuary, and the ocean from the lanai.

Welcome to #502 and you’ll be well housed for a fantastic Maui vacation!

This unit is as described in the listing. The updated kitchen renovations have definitely opened up and give an enlarged roominess to the unit. As this is an end unit, the side window also provides a feeling of spaciousness. The view from the lanai gives the advantage of two directions - one to the ocean and the other to the Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge.

The living room furniture and bed mattress (including pillows) are all new and extremely comfortable. All dishware and cutlery is of high quality too. The keyless entry is a bonus. Also, Marco is always nearby if there may be something you need him for.

If it is an option with your rental vehicle, rent a large cooler so your lunch is packed as the adventures await you! Cruisin Maui rental vehicles have been a very popular place for renting Jeeps!

The central location of Sugar Beach (north Kihei road) makes it perfect for departing in any direction as you tour and explore Maui.

I hope my review will encourage you about this unit. I know I’ll make a return visit.

This was our first time visiting the sugar, beach, condo complex, and our second time visiting Maui. During our previous vacation, we stayed in a large hotel. We loved all of the amenities the condo offered, and the complex was very well kept and quiet. In our opinion, it was very centrally. Located to get out and about and discover the rest of the island. The condo unit we stayed in was in beautiful condition and had everything we needed for our week. Our two children slept on the couch pull out bed and said it was very comfortable. For a one bedroom, we felt it was plenty of room for our family of four. The kitchen really made the week more affordable and love the bbq grills by the pool. We enjoyed having a washer and dryer in the unit as well. We look forward to coming back soon.

Nice and updated unit. Perfect for relaxing. Only minor issue was the shower area spilled water all over the floor. The shower mat was soaked our whole trip.

This is our second time staying at sugar beach. But this condo stood out to us. Beautifully clean renovated suite with both ocean and green views on each side. This suite had EVERYTHING we needed for our trips to the beach which made it so easy for us from beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and cooler bags, boogie boards, and even snorkling gear. The suite its self had all the amenities from towels, beach towels, toiletries even a laundry machine which made it so easy to do laugndry. Even the kitchen was fully stock with items to cook, and store food.
Locations was perfect it’s in between all the major spots like Kihei, Lahaina, and Kalului.
Our host Lara was so friendly and helpful as well.

Room was modern however could use some general cleaning and touch-ups. I needed to vacuum upon my arrival as there was some dirt and crumbs around the condo. Linens and Towels seemed to be clean, condo needs to be dusted and wiped down. Condo was well equipped. Although older building, seems to be well maintained. Parking was easy and location was convenient for our needs.

We had a great time! This location is right on the beach with a well maintained pool. The apartment is newly renovated and had everything we needed, including beach supplies. The kids were thrilled to have boogie boards for the beach. It’s also centrally located and easy to get to other parts of the island. Marco, who was on site was kind and very responsive. Highly recommend and would return again.

The overall experience was awesome one problem was plates were to big for dishwasher so ended up washing all our dishes. The shower could have been cleaned a little better but rest of condo was very clean.

Stayed 5 nights after it was impossible to find anything last minute and it was a great choice. Room was clean and the the kitchenette was perfect. Kihei doesnt have that much to offer in terms of great food but there are options and it’s only a short drive to Lahaina, Wailea and Paia. I’d def stay again

Amazing fully renovated unit to spend a great time in Maui. Right on the beach and with a lot of amenities we had a very relaxing stay. The unit also provided beach chairs umbrella boogie boards and more. We will go back there soon

Our stay at this unit was very accommodating and comfortable. Everything was modern and updated. The bedding was nice but the pillows and bed itself were not comfortable, even after 8 nights. The shower drained onto the outside of the stall so we had to make sure towels trapped the water as much as possible so it didn’t make too much of a mess. But overall very accommodating.

The unit was perfect for the two of us for our stay and easily accessible to the pool and beach. The ABC store and bakery were a short walk on the beach.

This unit is near the road so traffic was heard. The structure also seems to act as somewhat of a funnel for the winds, making it difficult (impossible) to enjoy the lanai most mornings/evenings as this area was very, very windy during our stay.

We experienced an “unfortunate incident” on our last morning. Although the door latches locked, keep the deadbolt in place as well for additional security.

We stayed in the fifth floor, in an updated unit. Had a great view of the ocean and pool/property. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. They had beach supplies as in beach chairs, a small cooler, goggles/snorkeling gear (we did not use as we brought our own), even a couple boogie boards! We had to buy life jackets for my kids because the waves on most beaches were humongous. There were not enough towels in the room, I told management and he very promptly brought us some more towels. There were enough lounge chairs by the pool. We didn’t try the sand which cafe so can’t comment on that. The property is old and can definitely use some paint on the buildings. The shops at the front of the property are not inviting, everything looks faded and as if no one has been by in years, so we did not go into even one. Overall loved our stay, although we did not stay in the hotel for very much. Pool was on the cold side. One night there were a lot of police officers in the parking lot, turns out someone stole a catalytic converter from a guests car, thankfully not our car. Security therefor could be improved.

Overall loved the cute condo, would totally stay there again! There was some spots on the sliding door that separated the restroom from the bedroom that looked like blood. You do have to be really careful while showering because the water does get out leaving a puddle on the floor. Besides that we really did enjoy our stay here. Loved the location as well, everything was pretty close! Would totally look into staying here again.

From the moment we walked in, this condo felt comfortable. It’s well appointed with high end furnishings and a wonderful view of the sea and pool area. Wi fi is good and the tv service offers many stations for viewing. We will be back!
