Wonderful time, as always, in Maui Vista. We had a slight hiccup when we arrived. The unit had not been cleaned even though we arrived after check in time. We called agency and they sent someone over within 30 minutes to fix the situation. The agency was very responsive to our calls so cannot fault them there even though they deal with many people. The unit was wonderful and was stocked with lots of essentials. Bed was comfortable but the views were what I loved about this particular unit. Spent many mornings sipping my coffee on the lanai overlooking beautiful ocean. Definitely will line to stay here again!

Unit was as advertised which was a nice surprise. It was clean. Nice bathroom and kitchen. New washer/dryer. Plenty of parking at all times (including weekends). Older complex but well maintained with onsite security. Nice location with close proximity to many things in Kihei. The beach across the street was nice and very close. Better view of the ocean from the condo than what was featured in the pictures in the ad. The balcony faces the main road so it is a little loud at times. I never had to contact the property manager (I stayed a total of 8 days) so I can’t comment on responsiveness.

Areas for improvement: Deadbolt was hard to lock and you really had to push the door in to make it lock. Main couch was not really very comfortable and needs upgraded. Bed was soft and a little saggy and probably needs replaced.

As everyone says, location is great. Right across from beach. We appreciated the chairs and cooler provided both for beach days and on our drive to Hana. Keyless entry was appreciated.

Space was a bit small and not a lot of closet/dresser space as either locked or full of owner's stuff. Fine for a week for 2 people but we still couldn't fully unpack. Would not recommend for more than 2 people, space is tight. No real dining table, have to eat on the island/counter opposite the stove. Balcony was a little small so really just enough to have breakfast outside. We enjoyed the living room recliners. Condo faces a major road so it gets pretty noisy out there, fine if balcony door is shut and did not bother us when sleeping as the bedroom is furthest away from road. AC worked great in both bedroom and living room. King bed was comfortable but tall so not recommended for people who might have difficulty climbing in and out.

Plenty of towels provided and we appreciated being able to do laundry. We also cooked quite a bit and the kitchen was well appointed although we avoided recipes that required buying a lot of seasoning and sauces as none really in pantry, there was some oil and pepper but otherwise would not rely on spices or herbs, and I think the oil was provided by previous visitors. Pots and pans were ok but cutting boards should probably be replaced. Lots of plates and bowls. Not much storage containers for leftovers after cooking so we just put things in bowls and covered with the provided foil which was plenty. Also plenty of dishwasher soap and dish soap.

Bathroom well appointed, plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided, hair dryer worked well. Good water pressure and heat in shower.

Good spot for a couple staying under a week.

Very Convient to Kihie Beaches! Also free Maui Bus if age 55 or over, with bus stop right next to property. Downside to our unit was the street noise. Apparently people think it's OK to cruise up and down in their vehicles with loudspeakers blaring loudly, harming the lanai deck sunset experience.

Though we have stayed at Maui Vista before, this was our first time in this condo. Right across the street from Charley Young beach is a positive, traffic noise is a negative. Comfy bed a positive, uncomfortable living room furniture a negative. Place was very clean. Didn't have any issues that needed manager attention. Felt the rate was a bit high compared to previous rentals at same condo.
