Honolulu’s Gold Coast is a beautiful stretch of coastline that runs from the edge of Waikiki to the front slopes of Diamond Head. With the Pacific Ocean as its front yard and Kapi‘olani Park and Honolulu’s most famous landmark—Diamond Head—as its backdrop, the Gold Coast is a favorite vacation destination for visitors to O‘ahu. Located on the quiet end of Waikiki Beach, it offers easy access to the incredible dining, shopping, and watersports offered in Honolulu’s most famous tourist area. The Gold Coast is home to the popular Outrigger Canoe Club, the Elks Club, and some of the most charming beaches and attractions on O‘ahu.

The Waikiki Shell, Honolulu’s premier outdoor concert venue, sits inside Kapi‘olani Park, along with a series of public tennis courts and 300 acres of recreational space used for jogging, biking, picnics, frisbee, sports, yoga classes, and more. The Honolulu Zoo and the Honolulu Aquarium can be found along the edge of the park, within easy walking distance to all Gold Coast accommodations and Gold Coast vacation rentals.

Hawaii Life Gold Coast is located within the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel, one of twenty 1960s-era resorts and condominiums that stretch from Kaimana Beach to Diamond Head. Designed as a resort destination, development along the Gold Coast began in the late 1950s. Residents and visitors to the Gold Coast enjoy incredible access to the best of O‘ahu, not to mention a unique, front-row view of Diamond Head. Paddle out directly from your Gold Coast rental condo to a cluster of popular surf breaks, including Publics, Castle’s and Old Man’s.
