The adjacent church dates to 1834. The bay itself is a half-moon of warm sand offering a safe place to snorkel. Hanalei Bay is also the starting point for kayaking tours to the remote Na Pali Coast. Outfitters such as Kayaking Kauai Outbound () offer kayak rentals as well as one-day and overnight guided tours.

Our Family of eight...(3 teens) Loved the house. Best Bali High view ever. Spent most of our time relaxing on the porch and BBQ meals. All sleeping accomodations were comfortable and do spacious. Pool and pool table kept us busy. Rainbows �� amazing. Liz so responsive to any needs. Could not have been better.

Our family of 7 adults and a 6 year old found this to be an excellent retreat for our 2 week vacation.
We found the house to be much larger than we expected which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were very spacious especially the living, dining, family room areas.

The rear deck and front patio provided shade from the sun with ample seating space for us all.
The heated pool and hot tub provided refreshing enjoyment.
The maintenance and service staff were attentive to our needs.
Liz Grout did an excellent job as our contact regarding the property and our needs at Hanalei Bay View.
We were overjoyed with the exceptional view from the rear deck! The sun, rainbows, mountains, waterfalls, Hanalei Bay, the surrounding landscape with its varied vegetation and the visiting colorful birds all added to the enjoyment of our excellent two weeks at this spacious comfortable house.
This vacation property exceeded our expectations!

It was awesome! We loved our early morning coffee on the lanai overlooking the ocean and the breathtaking evenings. We had a family of 8 there and we all had plenty of space. One concern was the glass table that separates the dining room and living room. It was a little dangerous when someone got up in the middle of the night. Ran into it a couple of times. Other that that it was great . Oh I did ‘t know we need to pay to have pool heated or we would have done that.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous property. The views from the front lanai were spectacular and we had a great time playing in the pool, going for walks, and spending time at the nearby beaches. Communication with the host was seamless and quick. Only minor negative was there was a broken window in the upstairs master that needs replacing.

Large expansive home with an outstanding view of Hanalei Bay and mountains. In a Covid environment this location provided seclusion as desired, a pool and hot tub experience, and plenty of activities to keep us more than satisfied.

We had a fabulous stay at this home and were amazed by the ever-changing view of clouds and sun and tropical views off the back porch. We found the bedrooms comfortable and found the kitchen well-equipped. Only things we'd improve are a nice selection of pool toys/boogie boards for the beach and a complete set of balls for the pool table. Still wishing we were there . . .

What a beautiful, lush view! The bey is but a sliver of the gorgeous view. Location is perfect for North Shore. When we were home, we spent majority of are time in pool or on the wonderful lanai. Some maintenance work needs to be done but property manager is aware. COVID is creating supply and service issues in Hawaii as elsewhere. Did not effect our use or enjoyment of the home. Kitchen was amazingly well equipped for any food preparation you might want. Best grocery prices at BIg Save in Hanalei. We would definitely return!

We used Kauai as a meeting place between our American and Australian families, and wanted somewhere quiet to spend our time. The Hanalei Bay View house was amazing, very well appointed and a short walk away from beaches and resort bars. We ended up having our dinner in the house all the nights we stayed, using the local supermarket (Woodland Princeville) for all our provisions. We would love to come back and stay again!
