This professionally designed (2023) two bedroom (945 sq.ft w/ 180 sq.ft lanai) home is a unique offering at the resort serving a nice middle ground between 2bd/2ba residences and 2bd./1ba. homes while still comfortably sleeping 6. This home features sweeping panoramic views of the verdant Mauna Kahalawai (West Maui Mountains), frequent rainbow sightings, and a slight partial ocean view from the lanai and no neighboring lanai oceanward. Blue and turquoise pops of color beautifully accent the warm wood grain flooring and the interior has been completed repainted in white making it much brighter than most other Honua Kai residences. The mid-century modern furniture with its coastal vibe is chic and refreshing.

NOTE: Resort-wide exterior lanai and building painting to begin on the Konea tower July 2022 until Dec 2024. Power washing, painting, and scaffolding will be set up around the building. The current schedule as of July 2022: This unit will be impacted Feb/March 2024. While lanai is being painted the lanai will not be accessible during the working hours. Schedule subject to change without notice.

Enjoy the sweet smell of the radiantly colored orange and white plumeria tree right outside the home as you gaze up at the lush mountain slopes of Mauna Kahalawai. In the other direction you will find the partial ocean view overlooking Duke’s Beach House Restaurant and the island of Lanai. This balcony faces East which makes for spectacular sunrises and a very well protected lanai area from the consistent prevailing trade winds.

Comfortable seating in the living room area with a brand new designer couch (queen pull out sleeper sofa). This home away from home has all of the comforts that you would want with its well equipped kitchen, ample beach gear, and gear for the little ones. Refined granite slabs, cherry cabinets, Bosch stainless steel appliances, porcelain tile, and lots of room to operate while making your favorite fish ceviche, or whatever you desire, while never losing sight of that gorgeous view.

Owners and guests alike at Honua Kai can’t get enough of the open floor plans, which are further enhanced by a seamless transition between outdoor and indoor living area through the glass Nanna wall doors. This property will comfortably sleep six with a king bed in the master bedroom and a pull out sofa here in the living room.

The master suite has a very comfortable and large king bed, an adjoining bathroom suite with a walk-in shower, a soaking tub, and a large granite slab with two separate sinks. The den (second bedroom) has a comfortable queen mattress and privacy door that is able to close it off from the living room.

Honua Kai is the preeminent resort in all of West Maui with its direct Hawaiian golden sand beachfront location, newer construction, as well as pools and unmatched amenities (On-site Spa, Dukes Beach House Restaurant, Aina Gourmet Market, Whalers General Store, etc). The team was great with questions I had and would send to them via txt message. They were on it. Very nice to know that if I had a question I could ask and it would be answered within minutes. This was the case from booking until the day of check out. Great unit for a family of 6 or like we had 3 families of 2. Very spacious and the lanai was huge which made it more spacious. Would for sure stay here again.

We had a great week at the Honua Kai resort. The Konea building was very nice, and our condo was beautiful. It was clean and welcoming. So nice to have chairs for the beach and a cooler handy for our Road to Hana day. The beds were comfortable. The resort was beautiful, and the section of the beach we were on was not as crowded. It was a beautiful trip. Would definitely go again.

This converted 2-bedroom unit was perfect for our family of four. The condo was very clean and nicely appointed. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler bags to borrow. Our check in process was very easy. We loved the Konea tower location with the General Store, spa and gym just downstairs. We would love to come back!

This condo was beautiful and very spacious
The views were amazing and the walk to the pools were very convenient.
The team was very helpful and responsive anytime I text and asked questions.

The only thing I would want others to know is any unopened left over food items you should leave for cleaning crew and or offer to the guys at security- front desk area. We had an additional bag of opened half eaten food items that we did not want to waste and asked where we could put other than garbage and they very graciously and happily accepted for themselves and "the guys"

We had an amazing stay in Honua Kai Konea 206. The room was much bigger than we expected and comfortable slept 5 people. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies to easily cook meals. The bathroom was also very nice. Lastly, we really appreciate that the room came with beach/pool supplies for us to use. The location was also perfect, right on the ocean and walkable to whalers village. We would definitely stay here again.
