Nana Kumole which means spectacular view in Hawaian, is a two bd./ three bath residence sitting on the top row of villas affording it maximum view planes with unobstructed 180 degree views of the ocean, Molokai island, and north up towards Honolua Bay. The winter whale watching from the home is outstanding as are the sunsets. The views are spectacular from throughout the home and privacy is bolstered by its location which backs up to the Kapalua Bay golf course with the verdant Mauna Kahalawai in the backdrop as well. The Ridge Villas are positioned in the heart of Kapalua directly across the street and in walking distance from the soft white sand of Oneloa Bay. This complex is very quiet, peaceful, and has a strong sense of residential living yet is permitted for legal short term rentals.

Kapalua is known for its stunning natural beauty, it’s comfortable weather with a bit of rainfall and consistent tradewinds, and a strong sense of seclusion and tranquility. Kapalua has some of the very best walking weather on all of Maui and has some great hikes/walks including: the Kapalua Coastal Trail, Mahana Ridge Trail, and the old Village Course walking trail.

This particular residence was just recently purchased in the summer of 2019 and has undergone a $300,000 renovation. Air conditioning, new windows and doors and walk in marbel showers. The residence is fully equipped to suit all of your needs as a home away from home, including a pull out queen sofa bed. This second story residence (stairs) is a two story floor plan has the living, dining, and ensuite bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom (dual sinks, walk in shower) with its own balcony and excellent ocean view all located on the ground floor in addition to the large covered lanai. Upstairs lives a large master bedroom (king) and blue pullout sleeper chair (twin) with an ensuite bathroom (dual raised sinks, pebbled shower, soaking tub), a large walk in closet.

The Ridge Villas personify understated elegance in a stunning tropical setting amidst beautiful flowering trees, shrubs, and flowers alike. There are two different gated pool areas one of which has a large covered area for BBQs and entertaining. This residence comes with two large covered parking areas.

In addition to being within walking distance of Oneloa Bay, Flemings Beach and Kapalua Bay, the Ridge Villas are within very close proximity to the Ritz Carlton, the Montage, and Honolua Store which is well equipped with prepared foods and sundries. There are several spectacular beaches within close proximity including Napili Bay, , , Slaughterhouse Beach, and Honolua Bay.

The views from the condo were amazing! High enough up that we could see the sunrise up by the Plantation house and see a number of the bays that were within walking distance of us. The front of the condo was between the green of hole #2 and tee box and the sun sets right off on that side of the condo. The condo was well thought out with amenties for days at the beach (beach chairs, umbrellas, portable cooler and ice packs, beach towels, etc). There is a coffee maker for those that want to brew a pot of coffee or Kuerig (we bought extra Kuerig pods though they supplied some there) for single cups of coffee. Meals were easy to make in an ample kitchen. Communication was great with text messages and instructions for check in and check out. Highly recommend

What a magnificent condo! Huge, luxurious 2BR with amazing, open views from all rooms and three (yes, three!) lanais. Quiet location makes it super relaxing. We've stayed at Kapalua multiple times and this unit is a winner.

Our family recently stayed in Kapalua Ridge 1622 for a week. We were blown away when we first entered the unit with how clean and nice the condo looked and at the incredible 180 degree+ view. The condo was well equipped with everything you could think of and was very comfortable. We felt very fortunate to be there. Kapalua has always been a great place for us to visit and we hope to go back soon and stay in this same unit.

We couldn't have been happier with this rental for our first trip to beautiful Maui! The unit was exactly as pictured and described! The views were absolutely breathtaking from all angles of the property! It was super clean and fresh, comfortable, seemingly new furnishings, and it was equipped with absolutely everything we could have possibly needed! Awesome location in Kapalua...we would most definitely stay here again!! One thing to note: the guest bedroom downstairs doesn't have an air conditioning unit (this may be stated in the description of property I can't remember). It can get quite warm in there if you don't have all the doors open and are utilizing the A/C units in the main living area and in the upstairs master suite. But again, this property really is gorgeous and the location...Kapalua Ridge, is an amazing part of the island on which to spend your vacation! We also liked working with Hawaii Life property management...had no issues at all during our stay!

The condo is lovingly cared for and maintained with stunning views from every window and balcony. The two bedrooms are spacious with their own balconies and amazingly beautiful views. There are three full bathrooms, all modern and well stocked with towels. The place is immaculate and the kitchen well stocked with anything you might need to cook meals and enjoy cocktails on your large lanai overlooking the ocean, including an ice maker. Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our week stay and would absolutely stay here again. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and in a wonderful location. You can walk to the beach, communities pools, and many wonderful restaurants. It’s a short drive to Lahaina. Our stay was wonderful. Communication with the property manager(s) was not the best, but a repeat text would illicit a response.

We LOVED staying here!!! The views were absolutely amazing-we saw whales every morning and enjoyed sunsets every night!! The unit was clean, in a very safe, quiet area with easy access to 3 different beaches. We walked ok the coastal trail everyday and used the pool and grills almost every night! Would definitely stay here again!!!

This is our 14th trip to Maui and our 12th trip staying at The Ridge Villas. This trip and this condo far exceeded expectations. Beautifully decorated and the views are amazing. This condo has everything that we needed. They have gone above and beyond to provide the little things that we have always had to provide ourselves. Hand soap, paper towels, garbage bags, just all the little basic necessities that you normally have to run to the store and acquire right away...they had it all right there. Even things not normally provided by owners at The Ridge...they had beach chairs, beach umbrellas and even a cooler for use. As well as access to the carport closet to store the items so you didn't need to drag them into the condo every night after a day at the beach and spread sand around. The condo was immaculate and I gave it a mid-stay cleaning with the cleaning supplies provided at the condo. It was great not to have to run out and buy all those items. The views are amazing. Like I said before. We hope to be able to stay at this lovely unit again when we come to Maui. Also, wanted to give the property manager liason, Megan, a huge shout-out. She's so helpful and responsive to any and all questions. Mahalo!!!!! :)

This place was awesome. Everything about the rental was top notch. Kitchen had everything we needed. Remodeled bathrooms were great. Beds were comfortable. The unit was quite large. The views from the balcony were amazing...more than 180 degrees. Top of the hill with a hole from kapalua golf course out the back. Local beaches were great. Beach chairs and umbrella in outside closet. The area was incredibly maintained. We have nothing but good things to say about the place and the service!

We absolutely enjoyed everything about Kapalua Ridge 1622. The view was breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner on the lanai was one of our favorite things. The decor of the home was so warm and inviting. The kitchen was clean, beautiful and well-stocked. The beds were so comfortable. The pool was wonderful as well. It was clean, never crowded, quiet, peaceful. And we utilized the grills. We definitely want to return to this property on our next visit to Maui. And we are so thankful that the owners of the property were so gracious to share such a beautiful home.

Our family has stayed at the Ridge 4 times. This is on our (top 2) favorite units. You can't beat the views! The condo has everything you need. Our host was quick to reply regarding any questions we had. The condo's interior is beautiful too! My cousin and her husband stayed downstairs. They wished it was a king bed, since that's what they had at home. One more thing is that if you're staying in the lovely loft....noise does travel when people are talking downstairs. We would still rent again. :)

We were very happy with our stay at Kapalua Ridge. The condo was modern and clean with all the amenities we needed. The views were great from almost every room in the home and fantastic from the two private lanais. Shuttle service within the resort was great. Tons of restaurants, golf, beaches nearby. We are looking forward to our next stay.

The condo was exactly as described, except it had no air conditioning. Once we opened the windows we had a wonderful ocean breeze blowing through the condo to cool it off. The neighborhood was very quiet and the pools on the property were well maintained. The owners were quick to respond when we had a question. Also, the concierge was very helpful with information and suggestions for activities and restaurants.

Jeremy and Megan were great to work with. The condo is as described and extremely clean. Newly renovated; all the amenities you could ask for. We've been renting places in Maui for the past six months; this was, by far, the best.
