One of our favorite events of the summer is happening this weekend! On August 13 from 11am-3pm, dozens of spectacular sand creations will be constructed along the shores of Hanalei Bay.
The event is free to enter and free to attend and open to participants of all ages that can choose to work individually or as a team.
Few rules apply and you must register before you begin building to be eligible to win a prize. Pre-registration is offered here.
Imagination is the heart of this friendly competition...expect to be dazzled with such formations as mermaids, sea creatures, ships, monsters, mountains, buildings, and much more. The passion that the participants show during the day is pretty fun to experience.
Remember to pack lots of water and sunscreen, or even better, a pop-up tent. We look forward to seeing you at the beach!
