Hawaii Life Vacations is doing everything in our power to ensure the safety and good health of our guests and homeowners.

To that end, we’ve developed a 5-point Checklist for our statewide team of property managers and housekeepers. We take pride in the properties we represent, and we want our guests to feel comfortable and at ease when visiting Hawaii.

Personal Protective Equipment

Our housekeeping team is required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) whenever they enter any of our managed properties. PPE includes face masks and protective gloves.

Cleaning Protocols

For your safety, all bedding in all of our managed properties statewide will be washed in hot water and tumbled dry in a hot dryer following every guest's stay. This treatment includes bedspreads, duvets, and duvet covers. Any decorative throw pillows or linens will be stored safely away.

Our housekeeping team is charged with daily cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces in household common areas of our managed properties.

These surfaces include but are not limited to, tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, phones, tablets, touch screens, remote controls, keyboards, handles, desks, toilets, and sinks.

Personal & Cleaning Supplies

We ensure that in every managed property, guests will find adequate quantities of hand soap and appropriate cleaning supplies for guest use, to keep you safe throughout your stay.

Appropriate Social Distancing

For housekeeping staff: We are committed to a waiting period of 24 hours between the departure and arrival of housekeepers and guests. To prevent any potential contact with the coronavirus, and to minimize any in-person contact, all mid-stay property cleaning will be postponed until further notice.

For our guests: Our guests will not be expected to meet at a public office to gain access to their vacation rental home. Instead, all of our vacation rental properties will be made accessible using either a lockbox or an electronic door code. We must note, however, that resort properties may be exempt from this check-in process. We are working with resort properties to determine the most suitable path forward.

As a professional property management and booking agency, we are committed to taking every possible precaution to both optimize your vacation experience and take care of your safety during this global health crisis.
