Kealia Beach on the east side of Kauai is a white sand beach popular for surfing, boogie boarding, and swimming on calm days. This beach is exposed to open ocean swell, winds, and can be a great whale watching spot in the winter. Kealia Beach does have a lifeguard, restrooms and showers. The Kapaa Coastal Path Ke Ala Hele Makalae follows along Kealia’s long stretch of white sand beach.
