Kauai has a wide variety of beaches to choose from. There are great breaks for surfers, soft long waves for boogie-board begginers, and protected reefs for snokeling. The long stretch of beach at Polihale ensures your own piece of paradise while the protect bay at Kalapaki provides for safe swimming for the whole family. Conditions vary througthout the year, so if you are unconfortable around water make sure to visit lifeguared beaches.
