The complex offers shared BBQ area and laundry facilities. Please note this unit is on the third floor and there is no elevator.

To start, I would like to give my genuine thanks for the attentiveness and patience Hawaii Life Rentals gave to my many questions and concerns regarding the stay and hawaii in general. They were quick to respond and provided so much useful information!

This was my first real vacation with my parents and I really wanted everything as perfect as possible. The rental was clean, nice, and provided a lot of potential activities in walking distance for the Poipu area.

Everything that was/wasn't provided was transparent so I was prepared when we got there. Check-in and checkout was simple! We were comfortable the entire time and my parents were happy!

Other than the many stairs for my older parents (which I should've inquired about) and the door code not working sometimes, I have nothing really bad to say about this rental/owner. Thank you all so much, it was a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Poipu - we loved the proximity to the turtle resting spot. Not to mention the giant breaching whale show we got to see - I have never seen anything like it before. The parking was a little challenging with the support poles. The property served us well for cooking (we did see one giant cockroach but it kindly and quickly hid itself away - we understand this is a normal occurrence on the islands). The beds were soft (maybe a bit too soft for me). That said, we had a relaxing and fun vacation.

The spacious and private apartment is in a great location, right near the beach and in walkable distance of restaurants, hiking trails and shops. The space was very well-equipped with anything we needed and the host was very responsive.

The property was not new but was in very good condition. It was clean, well furnished and comfortable. It is, of course, more than 100 steps from the beach - more like 200. We arrived after dark; there are literally no street lights and not many signs. Thank God I had a flashlight to read street names (none of which I can pronounce or spell). I recommend specific, detailed directions from the airport to condo. I was extremely lucky to find it.

Unit is best suited for a couple or 2 friends. No dining table for family to eat meals. Beautiful view of water, but windows and screens needed to be cleaned. Shower had 2 nozzle heads that continuously ran, using more water than necessary. Best part of unit is the location to Poipu beach for snorkeling and swimming.

There were two adults and two teen girls staying.

Yin: Comfortable interior space and furniture. Well appointed. Good TV. Great view. Comfortable beds. Nice Kitchen and counter space. Easy access to the beach. Quiet neighbors.

Yang: 3rd. floor with no elevator. No Lanai (patio) for outdoor sitting. One Bathroom. No central air conditioning-- one must drain the condensation pan of the in-room air conditioners. The Living Room became too hot by afternoon every day-- the A/C unit is ineffective until evening... it was more comfortable outside... this is where no Lanai comes into play.


We would stay here again if it is only two of us.

Place was easy to find, get into and stay at. Literally two minutes from Poipu Beach and could see and hear the ocean from the condo. Condo was nicely updated, comfortable and clean. Perfect for a relaxing get away. Close enough to main road for trips around the island. Overall, great place to stay and would love to return!

This condo was great. It was within walking distance to the beach (maybe a block away) and you can see the beach from the livingroom window. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The night before we were to fly out, we got stuck on the road back to the condo for 3 hours. We knew we were going to get in late so I emailed to ask if we could have an extra hour to check out. In the morning, I got a call to let me know that we could have until noon to check out because they did not have another rental coming in and the housekeeper would rearrange the schedule. We were so happy to have that extra couple of hours. Would definately stay here again.

This property was nothing less than perfect. The proximaty to the beach is only a short walk, the proximity on the island makes it easy to explore both the canyon and the north shore and the condo itself is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. We would love to return!

We had a great experience with this property/manager. All aspects (booking, location, access, communication) went like clockwork. The property was well maintained, quiet and in an excellent location. Snorkel equipment and beach chairs/towels were a nice surprise. Daytime temperatures in Dec/Jan were around 73 F (22 C) and we barely touched the air conditioning. The only drawback is the communal BBQ (a Weber Genesis which, as a side note, I also own back in Canada). For some reason, the communal BBQ couldn't get over 330 F. Certainly not a big issue - as long as you know, you can plan meals accordingly. Thank you!

The location was excellent! We rented the two bedroom which was nice! The kitchen living room was small as there was no room for all 4 of us to sit together for a meal, or play cards. We had to eat on at the counter and in the living room! They could have used more plates as there were only four in total. Several of the dishes had small chips and they did not have a dishwasher. They did have two beach chairs, and 4 sets of snorkels which was nice.
Would recommend adding two more beach chairs, and adding some more dinner plates. They did provide some coffee to get us through the first morning which was nice! The walk to the beach was maybe two min. which was GREAT!!! The ocean view was Excellent! I would stay there again!

Wonderful location for seeing the ocean and walking to terrific snorkeling. We had to go up 2 flights of stairs to the condo and we had to figure out how to cool it in the afternnon. Keeping the front door open to allow ocean breeze helped. The neighbors were friendly abd helpful telling us where we could buy groceries.

Small condo - no room to sit down and eat a meal. Very tight fit. Parking spot was tight for a bigger car. Location very touristy.

Although there is not a dining table, the kitchen does offer bar seating for four and the outdoor grilling area does offer a small picnic area as well. You are correct that Poipu is a very popular tourist destination and being walking distance to the beach does mean more tourist action around your rental.
