This luxurious resort condominium with spectacular views is located along the 12th fairway of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course and is exclusive only to residents and guests. From the shimmering blue ocean and breathtaking fiery sunsets, to the volcanic mountain top of Mauna Kea and the sound of rustling palm trees, you cannot help but to feel you have landed somewhere very special!

This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo is sitting on 30 acres of oceanfront resort property, this well appointed rental has all the luxuries to make you feel right at home. The condo was recently remodeled with new hardwood floors and carpeting and has a fresh coat of designer paint. The new set of furnishings, the authentic Hawaiian art, and the brand new 65 -inch Samsung smart TV with bluetooth surround sound system will make your stay that much more enjoyable. The gourmet and spacious kitchen has granite countertops and cherry wood cabinets. There is plenty of seating for dining as the kitchen bar top seats three and the interior dining table can seat up to six. Additionally, the back lanai, with its fabulous ocean and golf course views, offers dining for up to six people as well as a gas BBQ for outdoor grilling. The master bedroom has a king bed with glass sliding doors that lead out to a large private lanai with two chaise lounges where you can watch the whales breach. The other two bedrooms each have queen beds. Like the kitchen, all of the bathrooms have granite countertops and cherry wood cabinets. The master bath is extra luxurious and boasts a soaking tub with a separate glass enclosed shower with an optional window into the master bedroom. Ceiling fans throughout the home and the breezy trade winds will keep you cool and comfortable on even the warmest of days.

Hali'i Kai is located in the Waikoloa Beach Resort area approximately 18 miles from Kona Airport. The Ocean Club has a beautiful oceanfront lagoon style fresh water pool (multi-level), sand bottom hot tub, oceanfront open-air fitness cabana and a restaurant/bar, all with unparalleled views. There is even a tennis court and a basketball court for guests. The resort is within walking distance to the Hilton which hosts the award winning Kohala Spa and two championship golf courses. Hali’i Kai 9G was the perfect condo for our party of five. Our checkin was smooth and the unit was very clean upon arrival. We had a premium ocean view which did not disappoint. Beautiful sunsets, whale watching, sunshine, and blue skies were always there on our lanai. The unit itself was fully equipped with everything one might need for an extended stay. The kitchen was well stocked with small appliances, utensils, cookware and bakeware. As a group that cooked most every night, we were never lacking for items. The Weber gas grill on the lanai made it even easier to prepare meals. Kitchen staples left by previous guests were a welcome surprise. Some places we have been did not encourage this, so it was nice to have some basics . Starter items (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish and dishwasher soap) were plentiful to last for our two week stay. Beds were comfortable in all rooms and the common areas were spacious. The unit was well equipped with pool and beach items. If you wanted to spend the day at the beach, coolers, chairs, towels, snorkel equipment, etc, were there for your use. As far as the resort itself, it is very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful. The pool area is nice - right on the ocean. There is a bar area, which is open all the time, and food is available most days for lunch and dinner. The food is surprisingly good and the service was always good. The only complaint about the pool is the number of seats available. Like most resorts, people will “reserve” chairs, then disappear for extended periods of time. The pool staff could do a better job of policing the area to avoid this from happening. All in all, we would highly recommend this unit. It is on the second floor, and it is a two level unit so more steps are inside, so it is not advisable for anyone who has mobility issues. We loved it so much we have already booked a stay for next year.

We have been to Hali'i Kai many times, and and love it. We chose condo 9G because we needed a 3 bdrm unit for this trip, and it has a great location within an easy walk of the ocean-front pool / clubhouse. This unit was clean, comfortable and fitted our needs perfectly. Lots of beach toys, great laundry, great Weber grill, comfortable beds.

There were a few items we were disappointed with, though. When we arrived around 6pm on a very hot day, the temp in the unit was 85 degrees on the 1st floor and the AC was off -- it took a long time to cool down. After a 15 hour flight, standing in long, hot lines at the airport for covid screening, baggage claim, and then the rental car, we would have appreciated walking into a cool condo. It's not as if no one knew we were coming. The kitchen was generally well equipped, but had some disappointing issues. The dishwasher was horribly noisy, and we did not want to run it and stay in the room. The refrigerator was a too small over/under unit and lacked a through-the-door ice/water dispenser. Instead, 2 large Brita-like water filter units sat inside the refrig, and took up a lot of space. The over-the-stove microwave was mounted way too high -- it was fine for anyone over 6 ft tall, but awkward to use for others. Finally, the pull out cupboard unit which would have conveniently held the pots/pans fell apart on our third day, and was not useable thereafter. We fished out the pots/pans we commonly used, and stored them on the countertop instead. This condo deserves better kitchen appliances. A couple of us tried to keep in touch with work, but found the internet access to be rather slow, particularly when the kids were watching TV. There were 3 TVs, and each one was set up differently. We never were able to figure out how to access the Spectrum cable tv service. The only way we could get programming on the kids' bedroom TV was to sign into our own Netflix account. My wife and I spent the month of October in this unit at Waikaloa. Great location with Ocean View backing on golf course. 3 bedroom unit and very clean. Access to the Ocean Club including great food, bar, large pool plus a workout room open air looking over the ocean. We loved the Ocean Club and great people there!

Hali i Kai 9G met our expectations in every way. This was a return visit and were not disappointed. The unit is nicely furnished , kitchen fully equipped and has that homey feel. Not your sterile timeshare property.

Great whale watching from the lanai and pool area. The restaurant/bar on site was a great addition to our evenings when we didn’t want to grill on the lanai.

We have reservations set for next year!

I love this place. I've stayed twice. Very clean, perfect location and view. Plenty of basic supplies to start you out. Well equipped with dishes and cooking basics. There are many different activities that you can walk to. Easy access to the Queen's highway if you have a car. The clubhouse is nice, staff friendly and they have delicious fresh fish on the menu daily. weather can be stormy on the island in places while this location is generally very pleasant. Our host was very quick to help out with an awkward unexpected door lock problem. We had a solution in a short time and the lock totally replaced in 24 hours.

This property is wonderful for a family! Impeccably decorated and very well-appointed with everything you could want for your Hawaiian vacation. Conveniently located, beautiful grounds and views, and many amenities. The pool is gorgeous! Even the knives in the kitchen are actually sharp enough to cut up that amazing Hawaiian fruit! I like to cook for my family rather than eating every meal out, and this place is perfect for that.

Our family of four just spent 4 days at Halii Kai 9G. We loved it! The unit was nicely decorated and very clean (even the grill was immaculate). The kitchen was well equipped and we ate most of our meals in the condo. The beds were very comfortable and the complex was quiet and peaceful allowing for great sleep. My husband and I spent lots of time relaxing on the master bedroom balcony overlooking the golf course and ocean-wonderful view! The only suggestion I have to make this property even better is for the owner to provide some beach gear like boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, etc. (Beach towels were provided)

Three cousins and spouses rented this condo and we had a fabulous time. The location was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching the golfers as well as the whales. We hope to be able rent the condo again next year!!!

This condo was REALLY nice. The floors, furnishings and decor were stunning. It had everything we needed. We loved the location. Easy walk to the pool and hot tub. And easy access to stores, shops and restaurants. Also nice walk along the coast to the Hilton.
The onsite restaurant was delicious and so convenient.
We loved the 3 bedroom/3 bathroom convenience and laundry.
There is plenty of beach equipment and supplies. There were only 4 beach towels and if this condo were rented to capacity of 6 instead of the 4 of us, this would have been a problem.
We left a soft side cooler for the next renters as well as some staple foods in the pantry.
At this price point, I do NOT appreciate resort fees and they were doubling after we left. I was also surprised how a $349 daily rental adds up to $550 with all the fees etc. I do appreciate the free parking right in front of the unit.
I recommend bringing your own bath soap. The hand soap was fine but that small bar of bath soap was awful!! I also worried about "starter" products listed on the website but there was plenty of supplies for our stay. Again, at this price point I do NOT want to have to buy supplies.
I would recommend this condo.

Spacious and comfortable 3-bedroom, 3-bath, 2-story unit, with top floor master suite. Great views from both decks. Plenty of room for six adults. Excellent condition and very clean. Quiet and relaxing during busiest week of the year. Everything worked well, nothing lacking and no complaints. This is our third stay at Hali'i Kai, and we plan to return. It is THE BEST facility at Waikoloa Beach. These are good quality buildings, very attractive exteriors with well-appointed units. The grounds are immaculately maintained. The highlight for us is the beach club and pool. We spend every evening there enjoying the sunsets and happy hour. Superb whale watching location (seasonal). Food and drink prices are reasonable. Decent exercise facility that met our needs. Short hike along the bluff to Hilton mega-complex with swimming and dining. We highly recommend unit 9G and Hali'i Kai.

Hali’i Kai 9G has it all! Beautifully decorated, well appointed, plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds and bedding, kitchen has everything needed to prepare and serve meals at home AND it’s well organized and uncluttered!!! Loved that!! Quality throughout the entire condo. Well equipped for beach visits too, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, snorkel gear, floats and noodles. We loved how CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN the unit and everything in it was and I’m picky!!!

We have stayed at Hal’ii Kai twice before. Previously we stayed in an oceanfront unit but there wasn’t one available so we stayed in 9G with a golf and ocean view. In many respects it was a better view to look at. The unit was well furnished and we had plenty of room for the 7 of us - 4 adults, two children and an infant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Darrell was especially helpful and prompt in fixing an internet problem. I would highly recommend staying here.

After deciding to take our two adult children and their spouses to Hawaii for a vacation we spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect location. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of 9G Hali'i Kai. We found it comfortable, spacious, clean, secure, quiet and extremely well stocked with everything we could need. Written instructions on using the TV system would be nice although the younger generation found it easier to figure out.
We spent several evenings eating, playing games and enjoying the beautiful sunsets on the lower deck. The upper deck has two wonderful loungers and an even nicer view. The beach club was a few minute walk away and was enjoyed by all..a great place to spend time even though the pools are shallow (max 4'). The hot tub is pleasantly warm. The gym with a view was a big hit as was the restaurant (prime rib sliders, prawns, green beans,nachos, fish tacos -all of it really, really good). Drinks were reasonably priced at happy hour (2:00-5:30) for being a resort. It was all very clean with a good choice of seating/lounging options. A special shout to Cathy who really is as good as her reputation. We also found Christal at the guest centre very friendly and helpful even though we had rented privately.
There is one dedicated parking space with the unit however if you have two cars you can get free addtl parking passes for guest parking spots which are scattered around the complex - two right at unit 9.
A car is required if you want to shop or visit the beaches however the 10-15 minute walk along the ocean to the Hilton is pleasant and quite easy.
We were staying at a quieter time of year and I understand it gets quite a bit busier.

My husband had a conference next door at the Hilton, but since our adult daughters were joining, we opted to find a rental. Took me a minute to get the lay of the land with all the condos in the area, but Halii Kai could not have been more perfect! The complex itself is very nice, well kept with gated entry. There is a very nice pool with a restaurant/bar on the ocean with spectacular views (no beach access however due to lava). Our unit, 9G was even better than expected and true to the photos. 3BR and 3Ba let my girls have their own space. We ate on the pictured patio every morning for breakfast and watched every sunset and caught a few whale sightings with the binoculars they kindly have for just that purpose! The kitchen was well stocked and even had condiments in the pantry. All the nice touches to make cooking easy. The closet is stocked with every possible beach toy/ accessory needed. For us, we appreciated the chairs/ umbrella (me!) and the cooler and the nice plush beach towels. For younger families, lots of beach toys and snorkel gear stocked for fun! The beds were comfy. The master has its own deck with chaise lounges and a huge bathroom and giant closet which let us hang our clothes and stash our luggage. The property manager was very accessible with our questions (like where was the nearest grocery store!) and the concierge service they provide for free with the rental was a very pleasant and appreciated surprise. Having never been to this island, I knew nothing and they helped me choose quality companies for our excursions and ideas of what to do. We snorkeled at Captain Cook monument and took an amazing ATV waterfall tour up north in the Kohala valley. Both were awesome! I highly highly recommend working with them. We were there in late January and the weather could not have been more perfect 70-80 degrees!! Thank you for a great place.

Wonderful! Would highly recommend this property. Very clean. The views were incredible from the lanai. Spacious condo with a bathroom for each bedroom. Everything you want in a vacation rental.

Loved the location, the condo and the appointments. However, learned that VRBO now charges extra on top of what you are paying for the unit. Its deceptive as its in small print and is not included in your 'total'. I would definitely stay at this location again, but will find other sources in order to get to the unit. Halii Kai 9G is BEAUTIFUL

We had a wonderful week in Halli Kai 9G. There was an initial mix up with arrival time and the condo not being ready but Darryl quickly fixed the issue and had the condo spotless and ready to go. He touched base multiple times throughout the week offering any help or services. The unit is clean, spacious and private enough that it easily accommodated 6 adults. We will definitely be back!

I always worry that a rental won't be as good as the online ad, but Halii Kai 9G was awesome! The home was clean and quiet. In a great location and Darrell was so helpful. The unit came with everything we needed from beach equipment to spices. Would definitely rent this one again.

We had a great time at Halii Kai. There was a snafu with the lock and entry into our rental until that wasn't resolved until the next day. Unit has everything you need, is clean and spacious. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hali'i Kai 9G and the experience exceeded our expectations. We will certainly be back next time we visit the Big Island. The space was immaculately clean and it had everything we needed to make us feel at home. The grounds and the resort are amazing, clean, and upscale and it was a great base of operations for us to visit the many beaches in the area. We saw whales breaching from the lanai and the pool and club house were exceptional and a perfect place to hang out with our 2-year old. Management company was great and was very responsive when we had a key code issue for the door lock. All I can say is "highly recommended." One very minor suggestion would be to have something other than pod detergent for the washing machine. If we wanted to do a small load of laundry a full pod of detergent was too strong and overpowering on our clothes.

Hali'i Kai 9G was a wonderful place for our family vacation. The condo was clean and spacious, the furnishings were updated and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for meals. Also, our Hawaii Life property manager was very attentive to our needs. This was a perfect place for us to use a base for all of our Big Island adventures. We will certainly stay here again when we visit the Big Island.

Experience with 9G was probably our best. The condo was immaculate with gorgeous art, new well-chosen furniture and rugs and a beautiful new hardwood floor. I always looks for three queen or king beds and 9G delivered. And it had puzzles and games: the perfect solution for the one rainy day we had in 11. Hawaii Life was easy to work with and responsive. And as always the staff at Hali'I Kai were exceptional: Donna, Kathy, Mar-Gaul, Sapphire,Pua welcome us back like old friend. They are one of the reasons we keep coming back.

Our stay at Halii Kai 9G was the perfect winter getaway. The location was outstanding for seeing and doing the many things on the west side of the island. The convenience to the Kings and Queens shops and restaurants was very nice as well as a short drive to Kona and the beaches and activities on the north side of the island. The condo was clean and everything in good working order. The community pool and bar area offered outstanding views and a nice place to relax after a day of activity. The bar staff did get a little overwhelmed when things got busy but we were in paradise and not rushed. We really appreciated the concierge service and property manager. Tek and others went out of their way to help us book activities and provide recommendations timely.
