Kailua-Kona

Located on a quiet oceanfront property just south of commercial Kona, this two-bedroom, two-bath vintage cottage boasts a large covered lanai, classic Hawaiiana furnishings, and a grassy yard with parking. With one queen bed and three twins, it’s ideal for a small-to-medium size family or a couple wanting some well-earned space and relaxation.

The kitchen, with both a bar and a dining area for four, features ocean views to the north and south, where whales splashing offshore can be seen regularly from November through March. Two surf spots are located just out front to either side — one for all levels and one for experts only — and a short walk down the road leads to a small convenience store and a surf shop where you'll find watersports rentals, including surfboards and dive gear.
